Wonderful place to stay with easy access to the mountian!

This is a really great place for a small family! They had everything you would typically need at a VRBO! Only difficulty was figuring out our berings. A map inside of "you are here, here is the gondola, here is the hot tub would be Golden! Thanks@great!"

We had a great stay

Condo was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Company responded quickly with questions and door had a key code so check in was easy. For people not familiar with the area, the gondola that is walking distance is not a gondola on the ski slope. It is a gondola that takes you to the ski area. But it is just a few minutes walk, and a quick ride over.

The building did not have an elevator. Every other step we took, the floor popped or cracked. The room was very clean and had new appliances, though the clothes dryer gave us a hard time. The biggest disappointment was that the room was very stuffy with no ventilation, no a/c. They had several fans in a closet for us though. We had to open the windows at night and froze. We stayed at the end of march.

What we loved:- clean, bright, well cared for unit-we felt it was better in person than the pictures. - easy to access public transportation to get around town- the pool is very nice!- check-in info was easy to access- bed was comfortable, water pressure was great in showerCons(not a big deal really):- noise from construction next door at the pickleball/tennis courts started around 7 am.

Great location!

This place was perfect for my husband and me for our 1 week stay. The convenience to the Wildhorse gondola and the Steamboat bus system allowed us to easily get around without renting a car. The condo was very clean upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Even though there was no view, we appreciated the fact that there was absolutely no street noise at night. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Nice place - Crazy Noisy

Noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. Sounded like an industrial shop was upstairs when I arrived, it was the cleaners. In order not to offend the other folks staying below me, I walked around on tiptoes!

Lovely location, no Mountain View

We were in town for the SBTGRVL event and this location was perfect to access Yampa River trail and get to start easily for race day Pictures on VRBO show a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains west of Mt Werner but actually view is impeded by an ugly white dome housing some temporary tennis courts(!!) bummed that we didn’t get to enjoy a better view That being said the condo was lovely! Clean, bright, efficient— and the adjacent pool/ fitness room/ hot tubs were added bonus

Standard one-bedroom

Nice, clean standard 1-bedroom condo. King mattress quite comfortable. Had necessary amenities. TVs were odd. 1 was Roku, 1 was something else. Call me old fashioned but I was disappointed I couldn’t just turn on the TV and get the standard local ABC, NBC, ABC, FOX networks and to watch the AFC championship game. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome as we had to go to an office to pick up the key, but there were no keys in the lock box. This was remedied by the rental company fairly quickly after we ran into a cleaning lady who knew a direct phone# to call regarding the key issue. Then when we got to the condo front door we noticed it also had a keypad entry. Not sure why the keypad is not used for rentals instead having to pick up the key. Overall, though, this was a good experience and love how close it is to the little gondola that took us to the base.

Family of Four Ski Trip

This was our fourth visit to Steamboat to ski, and we booked this condo due to the price and ease of getting to the mountain via the Wildhorse gondola. Pros - walk isn’t bad to the gondola, even in the snow. About 200 yds with slight uphill. Pool and hot tub are in the adjacent condo, but the amenities are nice there. Kitchen is spacious for a one bedroom rental, nice fridge. Bedding is comfy and fantastic in both the master and pull out couch. Laundry was great to have in unit. Cons - no ski lockers for gear, so many families left skis in their trucks or hallways. This unit must be underneath a unit that has all hardwood or laminent flooring, because when guests arrived halfway through our trip you could hear their every move. We new New Year’s night would be loud, but it continued from 1am until 3:30am. Even the next day you could hear them walking/running around. There is no rep on-site, and the phone numbers Nomadless give you don’t have humans answering these complaints. We left a day early to avoid another restless night and won’t be returning. The final drawback was that the parking lot wasn’t shoveled during our stay, leaving a few cars having difficulty getting out and guest to walk through knee high snow when departing for dinner. There are better options for the price.
