Good location

Good location. Most affordable place within walking distance of the mountain. Interior is dated, but well maintained. Kitchen does not have a lot of amenities and is not stocked with basics like salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. so bring the necessities if you plan on cooking during your stay.

Great locationp

Great condo as far as location and free shuttle to mountain provided by retreatia. Refrig was not working when we arrived but called that night and was fixed next morning. Scanty plates/flatware so had to run dishwasher a lot. 1 wine glass. No throws anywhere and a little cool at night watching tv. Would rent again because of location and shuttle.

Very comfortable!

The listing for this property is completely accurate. What you see is what you get. Located just a couple miles south of the center of town. Safeway/Starbucks/liquor store less than a mile away. Clean, with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. Just know that if the people in the unit above are noisy, you will definitely hear them. Overall a very good value.

Close to Steamboat with good shuttle service

This is a no-frills adequate apartment. It was clean and very close to skiing. A shuttle runs directly from the parking lot to Steamboat which was very convenient. There are also small ski lockers for each unit which was nice as well. The kitchen was not as well equipped as I would like. The fireplace was out of order which was a big disappointment. The picture of the property did not show that. The TV is the master room we could never get working right. So, in general this place could use some maintenance and better instructions left with the TV. Leaving 4 remotes by the TV is not helpful. Lol. We had a great time and Steamboat had great snow when we visited.

Amazing stay

The condo was immaculate. So so clean. Check in and check out was effortless and very quick. Close to the bus stop or only a 5/10 minute drive from downtown. You can walk to the ski hill. Would love to stay here again.

Steamboat.

Very cozy for 3 people. Well-appointed though could use a few more dishes and blender needs replacing which we reported with no response. clearer directions for operating the gas fireplace would be helpful as we never got it to operate. The shuttle system to the ski area was amazing and skied a string of bluebird days.

Weekend stay

This place is so much bigger than the pictures show!! Came here for a weekend with my fiance and another couple and we had so much room. While they do have everything you need to cook a meal, they only provided salt and pepper. Now spray, oil, or tin foil. There's 3 supermarkets nearby so it wasn't an issue for us. 10/10

Skiing was awesome!!

The property was good. The snow was great. The negatives was the shuttle service. Supposed to be a continuous loop that never showed. The application they gave you didn’t match what was going on with the shuttle. The van service was definitely a stressful situation. The second was when we were packing we placed all our luggage out to be picked up. Checkout was 10:00 and the door was closed before 10:00 and the code to get back in was deleted and I couldn’t do my final walkthrough. I was good with my stuff but my son still thinks he left a pair of jeans there. I guess we will never know. Thanks Tom

Disappointed

The rental was clean but very dated and not well cared for. The listing says "Elegant 2 bedroom...". Not hardly. The kitchen had the basics but the knifes are dull and some typical items are not in the kitchen. Cabinet doors are off hinge. Also, the fireplace has a sign "Out of Service". It appears the sign has been there for a long time. Also, the television was unable to advance beyond a disclaimer screen, arrg Very frustrating. Also, my first night sleep was interrupted at 12:30 am by deafening fire alarm! When I was able to ascertain there was no fire or smoke in my unit, I tried to call "Emergency after hours" phone number which is given by the management company, and nobody answered (twice). I eventually called 911 and the emergency operator said the fire department was already at the complex. After about 15 minutes (seemed like an hour) it stopped and I went back to sleep. At about 2:10 am another alarm !!! Thankfully it went off after about 2 minutes. The next morning the alarm situation was the talk of the shuttle bus, with several people talking about the fire alarm debacle. The shuttle driver offered that the alarm situation has been happening all season. The shuttle service to the ski mountain worked well. Bottom line I would not stay at this unit or in this condo complex again (Timber Run).
