We usually stay at our family's home when visiting Steamboat, but they already had company booked this year so we rented Condo #112 at Torian Plum for 8 days. We were a bit concerned about not having AC, but since it cools down so much in the evenings, we slept with the windows open with no issues (At home we sleep at 68 degrees as a reference point. We do sleep with a sound machine which was good bc there is a little service road outside that delivery trucks use and people walk by in the mornings with some noise. We also loved the sound of the babbling brook right outside the window. Not only does this location give you great access to the mountain and some great restaurants, the condo itself is in an ideal location on the 1st floor. It was soooo convenient as the fitness center was simply down the hall and there was an extra guest lounge right across the hallway that basically gave us an extra living room. We were also just steps away from the storage lockers on one end and the trash room on the other so it wasn't a 10 minute trek to take the trash out. Also, the pool and hot tubs were right out the door at the end of the hallway. Our family of 5 fit easily into the 3 bedrooms. It was nice to have the 3rd bath as well. All of the bathrooms are updated with very nice showers and vanities. We cooked dinner one night and had all that we needed in the updated kitchen. If I had to find one complaint (and please realize I have to look hard), it would be the washer/dryer situation. It is located in the kitchen. Since it is a front loader the door of the washer needs to be left open (I easily cleaned out some mold in the front fold upon arrival), but that means a door is always open in the middle of the kitchen. The steam-based dryer usually took a couple of rounds to dry clothes, but I could have been using it wrong as I have never used one before. The king bed was very comfy with a memory foam mattress and the kids all said their beds were cozy too. We loved that there were fans provided for all of the rooms and humidifiers too! We highly recommend Torian Plum, and especially recommend 112 Creekside!
