Holiday Homes in Starnberg

It's a very elegant hotel with a beautiful but spacious room close to the lake. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times and the breakfast which was included of a very high standard.

The hotel is in an ideal location to explore the old town and beyond by foot, but still quiet despite the central location. The bathroom was modern with a great shower. We were grateful to be offered a very early check in after travelling for over 24hrs.

Room cleaned daily, staff super helpful, lovely breakfast. The rooms were airconditioned but common areas weren’t which was uncomfortable at times as it was extremely hot during our stay. Terrific location to tourist destinations, public transport and dining. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great hotel in old town. Central to everything. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

No food available at hotel. Is available nearby. Only issue is that there us no kettle or cups in the room to make yourself a cup of tea or coffe once reception closes. We carry our own tea bags and milk, so we do not need hotel supplies, but not being able to use them is a deal breaker for us.

Wonderful 10 out of 10.I cannot fault this hotel. The facilities, the staff and the dining options were brilliant. Not as close to the old town of Munich but good public transport services with tram stop a 2 min walk.

This is a very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean and spacious, with good air conditioning. The breakfast was also very nice!

We had a wonderful stay at Obermeier, and managed to use public transport into Munich effficiently. The breakfast was amazing, and we also made good use of the lovely reception and bar areas. Staff were incredible, and very understanding when I flew off with my room key! It would be very hard not to return if I ever came to Munich again.

This hotel was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a medical issue on arrival and the reception could not have been more helpful and concerned. They assisted with where we should go and contacting transport to the local hospital. Thank you so much Hotel Deutsche Eiche we will forever remember your concern and hope to be back again someday under better circumstances.

Great location, free mini bar and a delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

The room whilst small was more than adequate The room was light bright and spotless Staff were amazing

We booked this hotel on the basis of other Expedia / TripAdvisor comments and we were not disappointed. Upon check-in (we arrived early) we read a sign on the desk that the sauna would be closed during our visit, which was annoying as we booked the hotel as it ticked this box. The person checking us in voluntarily called the assistant manager who very kindly offered us a room upgrade and breakfast as compensation.....which we accepted. Could not complain about our room on the 3rd floor, had a...

Great hotel with fantastic amenities. Literally next to a train station and supermarket. Rooms were very comfortable.

The room was clean, good breakfast and helpful staff. A bit out of town.
