There were a couple of maintenance issues during our visit, including a toilet that became unusable, but the host was responsive and worked with us to address our concerns. "Was an amazing stay overall. Great access to the lake but would caution if you have any older or less than mobile people in your party. It’s not an easy walk to or from, nor from the upper part of the property to the actual house. There is drive up access to the house itself though which was phenomenal for grandma in our case. She did struggle with the stairs inside as well but having a room on the main floor made it easy for her to enjoy herself. I feel this house could use just a tad bit of tlc. It has such unique potential with some love and care. Definitely hard to get to without 4 wheel drive. Smaller cars would struggle. Overall the stay was wonderful though. A perfect place to spend with family. Being dog friendly also made it perfect for us especially with our golden retrievers."

It is a steep walk down to the shore, because everywhere on beaver lake is steep, but the shore was awesome! Bring shoes because of sharp rocks but you will have almost an entire cove to yourself!"
