"This hotel-motel is quite rustic but full of charm and character. If you expect this (and not a standardized chain hotel) you will love it. My bed was comfortable, the room was cozy and quiet, but the furniture is very outdated and quite worn out. I didn't like the spots on my couch. But I my bathroom was freshly renovated and very pleasant."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Le Montagnard, in particular: -Welcoming host who called me to confirm and share entry details! -Clean A -Absolutely fabulous hot tub outside (note the heavy wood lid you have to remove and replace yourself). Would have loved a kettle to make our tea in the room and lights outside around the hot tub would have been lovely if on. We would return! "

"The property is away from roads and noise which suited us perfectly. We stayed one night it was perfect for our needs. I definitely recommend if you are looking for place away from noise and in nature. "

"Rooms were clean but are dated. Staff was great. Breakfast at hotel restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Only issue was that we happened to be there at same time as a number of hockey teams. So lots of noise, running up and down the halls and banging of doors. Management was good at shutting it down at a reasonable time. "

"A great spot for ski or hiking lovers, with a very convenient location. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator, so the stairs could be a challenge for some. The room view wasn’t anything special—ours looked out onto the fire station—but the service more than made up for it, as it was truly excellent."
