A lovely quaint little quiet cabin with lovely views of the lake. Could have had a wardrobe in the bedroom to hang up some clothes.

Rustic charm, beautifully comfortable bedding and the perfect outlook for our 5 night stay. Pet friendly, our budgie thoroughly enjoyed his holiday too! 😄 Only a 5 minute drive into Stanley and a great base for daily sightseeing. We loved our time in the lakeside jetty cabin.

This property did grow on us over our 2 night stay, but we were initially disappointed. The cabins and site generally including the lake and surrounds is a little rundown and in need of maintenance. The cabin itself was OK but not perfectly clean and definitely aging. the cabins are quite close to the main road so there is a fair bit of noise from traffic. Good cooking facilities and the spa was great.

Beautiful peaceful cabin and area. Unfortunately had a problem with nests of bull ants and jack jumpers around the cabin, but the caretakers were trying to reeadicate them. But we couldnt enjoy sitting outside with the dog. Overall it is a nice place and short drive to Stanley town, and 20 minutes to Smithton. Very clean and tidy with everything provided. Owners were absolutely lovel.y and very helpful.

The cabin was cosy and in a peaceful location overlooking a lovely garden and lake. The manager was lovely and helpful. There were large Australia Salmon in the lake.

Such a unique accommodation. Quiet, secluded warm cabin right next to a lake with jetty. There is a bath if you like a nice soak. Sit on the lounge suite and look right onto the lake. A lovely retreat close to Stanley. 2 bedrooms but only a lounge suite for 2 people and no internet, so please be mindful of this. We really enjoyed our brief stay here.

A warm cosy cabin that was immaculate. Not a spec of dust or a thing out of place. Everything we needed was there and the beds were extremely comfortable. The BEST sleep I had in all of Tasmania travels.

Cute little cottage
We stayed here near Stanley in a 2 bedroom cosy cabin by the lake. A walk around the grounds was relaxing. It is only a few minutes drive into Stanley itself if you are after a meal. Apart from hearing quite a bit of traffic noise at night we had an enjoyable stay and would certainly choose to stay here again.

Thank you for your feed back, we designed our cottages to be rustic and blend in with the surrounding rural settings, alongside our 3 acre saltwater lake, we have had enormous commendations from others who love this experience

I had the best weekend in Stanley with my sisters and niece. Jo and John were fantastic hosts and the cabin was perfect for us. Feeding the fish off the jetty was a hightlight. Such a beautiful peaceful place with lots to look at around the property.. Will definitely stay there next time I go that way.

Very thoughtful host - we arrived very late - 11.30 pm to find cottage warm and well lit. Lovely outlook over the pond, quick drive into Stanley, clean and comfortable. Second time we have stayed here.

Hello We checked your concerns and the jets are clean on the spa maybe a little discolored from age, and we could not find any problem with the toilet you may have not pressed down enough , the mattress on our beds are new with medium firmness with a pillow top topping, we are sorry you were unhappy with your accommodation

I liked the privacy, the cabin itself made you feel at home - only thing I disliked was it was at times a little cold. Heaters very small I probably wouldn't stay here in winter as I feel the cold a lot.
