"Miramare Hotel has a unique style which is quirky, and excellent staff who were always helpful. It is on the 3rd floor accessible by lift or stairs, and perfectly positioned to walk into Cagliari city, or along the harbour. Also within easy walking distance of the station, as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Our room had a harbour view so was perfect to sit at the juliette balcony to people watch and enjoy the comings and goings of the boats. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"This is a resort that is separated from any community it is in. Assuming you drive there, you are then separated from your car by a 15 minute walk - getting away during your stay is tough. The rooms are actually small separate houses like a holiday village and are very nice. Mine had a view of the stunning coast we were on. The place is enormous and has many places to eat. I would imagine you really want at least half board which I did not have. It has the feel of a theme park and so would suit..."
