Dear Chad, I am glad you had a wonderful honeymoon. However I was disappointed to hear you had noise interruptions. Why did you. not notify me while I could do something about it? As a resort, we have strong noise laws. We have a resident manager and staff and could have immediately shut down any noise within minutes! I am a text away; a call or an email away and we take any noise very seriously, but we are reliant upon your feedback in real time so that we can take action.

Charles was very kind. Looking after my villas and my guests is my full time occupation and it was my pleasure to address Charles' concerns. Actually he was quite funny, We have one of the best locations on the island but we are at the edge of a nature preserve. We have a full time team looking after our pools but they work in a location where we are affected by changing weather and biology. I hope to see Charles next year.

Jason was a very easy guest to host: responsive and responsible. We will always do what we can to make adjustments for guests, based upon changing circumstances. Having 3 places makes this easy as well as having the ability to do airport pickups and trips back to the airport. We look forward to Jason's return.

Leo was a great guest very quiet and undemanding. We would certainly host him again. The Oasis is a favorite for romantic stays, due to its' seclusion and yet is just 5 minutes to all the spots. Not only do we have quick taxi service. but we are also on the dollar bus route to Red Hook and beyond.

It was a pleasure to host Steven and his wife for their anniversary. Wonderful, considerate guests.

Nobody has ever said this before so we are puzzled. It is much closer to meet a taxi at the entrance to the resort, by Pangea. It is barely a minutes walk. We should not really be marked down because of the island taxi service, which is outside of our control. It gives the impression that our location is poor when we actually have one of the best locations on the island. Many places on the island cannot get taxi service and guests have to rent a vehicle.

This is not a factual review so a few things must be said to clear this up. This small eco-resort has 4 full-time staff and is amazingly well kept. What Robert failed to appreciate on his first visit to the island is that, if he had stayed anywhere else for his 4 days, 2 of them would have been spent in darkness without AC and WIFI because the island's eclectic plant is not too reliable. Unlike all the resorts on the popular East End, ours is the only one with a generator and high-speed WIFI. Of the 25 condos with private poo;ls, this one is one of a few that has had a total remodel . I spent over $40,000 on it last year alone. The exterior work replaced the old bridge which had cracked tile with a brand new one. We also built a new fence, a new gazebo. $15,000 was spent outside in the garden area so to say anything was old is in fact, preposterous. We even have new graduated pool steps and finished it off with the fun option of pool lights! Regarding the comments about the pool furntiure, I was worried and had to have someone come over to inspect because I just bought brand new Tommy Bahama recliners at a cost of $1,200 and was afraid a guest had ripped the,. Not so! The housekeeper had put cushions on top and there was a tiny tear about an inch long in one. of them. Whilst this is utterly insignificant I will have them removed. There WAS gas in the grill. I had simply shared that I did not know if there was any gas in the grill. The other condos don't have grills because they are being phased out. I thought it was a nice extra feature. We can remove the grill. I immediately got my builder over to. inspect the closet doors. There was a part that slid in the runner at the top. Someone must have pulled on it. We replaced it already. I had my electrician over to test every single outlet and they all work and all charge phones. There were a couple of wires in front of the TV that anybody could more (they were not live) so we moved them. Robert had a car and could have driven to Sapphire resort in 2 minutes. I would never recommend walking at night. There IS no soccer field but as I wrote in the notes I emailed to him, the walking path is part black top road and part unmade road which is normal in the Caribbean. It also says in the listing that that beach is a 6 minute walk. The laundry machine is working and directions as to how to use the washer and dryer are on the wall. We do have problems with tenants who do not read the instructions about how many quarters to put in the slots. If he had read them he would have had no difficulty washing and drying laundry. I. called the manager and he went and checked. Robert could have checked with me. Regarding the view, there is certainly no trash on the ground. As the listing says, there is. a nature preserve - part of the national park - that runs between this little resort and Pelican Beach. Throughout the seasons we have periods when the vegetation mostly loses its leaves and you have quite a good view of the sea. At other times the bush is overgrown and you can't. For this reason, I do not say that there is a sea view. I am not aware of any missing tiles but this is a spiteful review. We have a redone pool. When asked why he had not posted a factual review he admitted that he thought he had spent too much. Please be aware that when you make an online booking about one-third of what you pay goes to VRBO and hotel tax. Rates go up and down with demand. Demand increased after COVID. everywhere and prices went up everywhere. Car rentals doubled. At other times, as we enter a recession, rates come down. Our. the rate was almost half the rate of another property in the resort. A simple room at the Ritz Carlton with no private patio or private pool would cost in the neighborhood $1,000. This is the only place in the islands where you can have a private pool for a fraction of that price.

Lisa and Johnny were very considerate. They were stuck without transportation and we managed to get the place ready much earlier than they actually arrived. It was a short stay but I am so happy that they were able to get to Pangea, which is fabulous as well as The Beach Buzz.
