"This is the perfect hideaway for a Sebastian getaway! Povi has gone to great lengths to create and an oasis for his guests. "I am requesting a refund for my reservation at Sebastian Garden Inn & Suites due to the unacceptable and unsanitary condition of the property. I had booked a 4-night stay, but I was only able to remain for the first night because the room conditions were so disturbing and no other hotels had availability that evening. Upon arrival, I was first given the wrong room type (two twin beds) even though my reservation clearly shows an efficiency room with one queen bed. I had to provide proof of my booking before the front desk corrected the mistake. Once moved to the second room, the conditions were shocking. Both rooms had a strong moldy odor that made it difficult to breathe and impossible to feel comfortable. The bathroom was filthy, with visible rust, grime, stains, and unsanitary buildup on the tub fixtures, drain, and sink hardware. The shower was in such poor condition that I felt unable to use it at all. The sink area and fixtures were dirty and deteriorated, and the cabinet beneath the sink was stained and unclean. The refrigerator and air conditioning unit also appeared neglected and unsanitary. In addition, the exterior of the property and parking lot were in poor condition, creating an overall impression of neglect and lack of cleanliness. I have photographs documenting these issues. The conditions were far below any reasonable standard for a hotel advertised on Expedia and did not match expectations for a safe, clean, habitable stay. "

"This is a beautiful home, very clean and has everything you need to stay for a week or more. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen has all you need for cooking and the house is very spacious. The main bedroom and the guest rooms are on opposite sides of the house which loans itself to privacy. It’s situated in a lovely neighborhood perfect for walking the dog. The back yard is fenced in, also perfect for safety of our dog.It was a treat to have a lovely large swimming pool in the backyard on days we wanted to skip the beach and stay closer to home. Finally, the host was welcoming and accommodating. You won’t be disappointed staying here."

"We stayed for six weeks. Most of the time there was just the two of us but we did have family visit so the extra room was greatly appreciated.The home has some good pluses- comfortable beds, good shower, large kitchen with big eating table, smart Tv’s, good refrigerator, ample trash bags provided, charcoal grill, car port and good heat/ ac. There were many things that if done could make this place exceptional by going through and doing maintenance: replace missing handles on drawers, make sure drawers open, secure closet rod, provide ample hangers ( there is now because we purchased them) replace dead plants by front door or eliminate, replace throw rugs and kitchen mats, update extra blankets and make sure linens fit the bed ( too big for queen bed), with no dishwasher - dish cloths and towels are a must as well as a sink plug - all we purchased, there was no yard work done the whole time we were there and many tree palms had fallen down, you encourage recycling yet no inside bin is provided ( there is one now, we purchased it), it would be nice for some kind of dresser, maybe in the closet for the third bedroom, hand towels and a bath mat would be nice, fix back of couch that sticks out and causes people to catch their clothes on if the rub against it and lastly provide cleaning tools that do not appear like it was used in a garage ( you have one now as we purchased a swiffer). Also it is very dark, maybe remove window film."
