They obviously weren't interested in our business. After making arrangements weeks beforehand, when we got there they were locked up tight. We saw them in the office, so we rang the number posted on the office door but got no answer. Strange way to do business. We went down the road to a super friendly hotel that actually wanted our business.

I'm sorry, I believe we may have been subject to faulty cell reception. I was in the office waiting your arrival from 3 to 5:45, I stepped out at that time to assist another guest, but was back in the office from 6 to 10 pm and never received your call. I do apologize and hope the remainder of your trip went well

The staff were friendly and quick the room was clean but it didn’t have any air circulation when you put the heat on to warm up it got very stuffy and you had to open a window after a shower all the windows were saturated I would not stay there again even though it was clean and a good price

Great place to stay.
The hosts were great and very helpfull. This is a great place to stay. Family oriented with an outdoor pool, play area for kids, bbq's abd fire pit and laundry. Highly recommend it.

Our stay was great. It was perfect with our young kids. Being able to sit, relax and watch our kids from the cabin deck while they played in the playground was what everyone needed.

The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The cottages were nice and very clean. The only thing is they need either some fans or window A/C units.

An easy drive from the ferry. Cool national historic park just up the road snd Louies diner was fabulous food. Second stay here. First time during a hurricane. Owners are new but just as caring as previous. Love this place.

they need better frying pans, everything sticks and burns, and bbq should be free usage.

I would not stay here again. I payed for 3 nights but only stayed 2. The place needs a total remodel. It was one of the most rundown places I have stayed in over 40 years. Spiderwebs all over the front deck of our cabin, sticky doorknobs and table. The front doormat was absolutely filthy and looks like it was purchased in the 70's. I can't believe the reviews were positive about this place and wonder why the poor reviews were few and far between. Expedia should rethink this one.

This is a great spot. Lots of room. Good kitchen. Nice field and pool and park for the kids on the property. Nice deck with a view of the water. Only issue with our room was a very uncomfortable futon.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay, and for the discomfort you experienced. On inspection it was found that the mattress had been flipped placing the pillow top on the bottom. I apologize again and will be addressing this with my staff.

The service and cleanliness is great. The property is aging and some of the equipment is definitely in need of replacement. The toilets are very low which is difficult for handicapped people. Stayed here three times this summer.
