Liked that it was a little remove from the main street of St. Michael's (About a half mile away). Loved the history of the House and how Will came to own it and restore it. Liked the staff (Will and the young ladies who support him). Loved breakfast. Liked the pool. HIGHLY recommend it.

We had a pleasant two-night stay at the historic George Brooks, but we’ll likely consider other options if we visit St. Michael’s again. Although the property is conveniently close to town, we were disappointed to find no path or sidewalk protecting pedestrians from the busy highway, so driving into town felt like the best choice. The B&B features a lovely pool and grounds, but the overall condition of the property doesn't feel quite crisp. Additionally, our room and bathroom were small and in need of some updates.

Fantastic

We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The Inn is spotless and wonderfully decorated. The grounds are beautiful gardens and relaxing pool and hot tub. They even have electric vehicle charging stations. The food was absolutely delicious and the proprietors friendly while allowing for privacy

Nice B&B comfortable, breakfast was great each morning staff very helpful. Place is off the beaten path but very quiet and easy to get to town either by bike or car. Would stay there again next visit

Great, great property.

This is a true gem. The house and room were very warm, comfortable, and inviting. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and knowledgeable. Room was true to picture and description. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was easy and convenient. Would absolutely stay again.

Quiet, quaint lovely stay. Couldn't have been nicer! We had eggs Benedict for breakfast and French Toast the second morning. Quite a history was told about this beautifully told story of George Brooks

We reserved a certain room at this property, but we were given a different room. When questioned about it, we were told the room we requested was down for a maintenance issue. Not 10 minutes later, we watched another couple check into our room. Things happen, don’t lie about it.

The room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Very good breakfast. Also complimentary coffee, soft drinks and water. Close to St Michael’s but u need to drive to town. They have bikes available which could be used.

Needs A Good Cleaning

The inn needs an exterminator and cleaning crew to freshen up the property. Ants in the bathroom, spider webs in the common areas, and clutter around the outdoor patio and pool area. The landscaping is lovely but the property feels tired. Thankfully the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The Inn is very close to downtown shopping and dinning. It was easy to find and easy parking. It was also very quiet. The interior was charming. The innkeeper was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice. The only issues we had were my husband and I did not sleep very well. It was too warm in the room, and the bed was a little too firm. It also didn't help that the landscaping crew was right outside our window at 7am. But, other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Property was in poor repair. Had to change room as sink was blocked. Video equipment in second room did not work and that sink was cracked. Given price expected plush rooms, great breakfast and cleanliness beyond reproach. Did not get that. Host was helpful and attentive but clearly needed more staff to support guests.
