Lakefront family-friendly 4+ bedroom house on Little Squam
10/10 Excellent
"We used the lake house as a base camp to explore New Hampshire. It was at most a 1.5 hour, beautiful drive to everything we wanted to see. After hiking in Franconia Notch, or driving to Vermont to compare fall colors, it was nice to come back to this clean, beautiful house. The kitchen was very nice and well appointed. It was by far the nicest kitchen of any house we have ever rented, and the deck was awesome. We also appreciated the instruction manual that came with the house. It listed good restaurants close by, hikes to try, how to operate the electronics, and where to find things in the house. Our daughter has OCD and she would have loved how organized the house was. "
"Beautiful setting on the lake. The cabin has basic amenities and a small kitchen. It could have used kitchen towels. Also the outdoor light to the front door did not work. Overall it was a good experience. "
"Our room was spacious and lovely . Loved the cozy homey feeling . Fun to watch the 8 ducks roaming around .The rockers on the porch were awesome . The Inn also has an accommodating patio in the back . Friendly Inn keepers and great country breakfasts well. "
"The location was amazing! We were 9 people with 4 kids ages 4-14 and two grandparents. The beach and its amenities (kayaks, canoes, fire pits, sand toys) made our stay well worth it and had something for all ages to enjoy. Kyle was available at a moments notice to provide anything we needed. "
"The Boulders is a gem on Little Squam. A great beach w/ kayaks and canoe and swim out dock as well as boat access if needed. The unit was great - updated w/ small kitchen area and loved the 2 enclosed decks overlooking the lake. We brought a paddleboard of our own (though there are some available on the beach) and had a great time exploring the lake shore. This place is perfect for a fun relaxing getaway to NH Lake country. Walter's Basin restaurant is just down the road in Holderness - highly recommend as well. "
