This space was perfect for our family. We were in town and needed to be close to the convention center downtown so this was perfect. The host communicated promptly.

Comfy beds, good environment for adults

We had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the owner answered our phone call right away. The house has lots of historic elements but was not super kid friendly. The beds were comfy and the location was very convenient for locations we were visiting (Busch Stadium, Gateway Arch, Union Station).

Perfect for a Cardinals Game With the Family

The property is exactly how it is described in the listing. We rented the property for a weekend with our boys before school started. The property is an easy quick drive to all the attractions. We visited the Arch and went to a Card’s game and it was only an 8 minute drive to each. Great communication with host and very thankful for a late check out. We would definitely rent again.

St Louis 2nd floor apartment

Location great but could use upgrading. Host responsive. Read listing carefully. Just not as many amenities we are used to.

Cozy Apartment right in the heart of St Louis

From the minute we stepped into the foyer I knew the charm of this apartment was going to be a fun experience for my family who aren’t used to staying right in the city. The apartment is redone with all of the amenities one expects (wifi, keurig, comfy linens and soft towels) but also has the charm of an older building with its creaky floors and crystal doorknobs. The host, Robert, was very kind in all of our messages and responded promptly. He even let us choose our own door code. The location in McKinley Heights is the perfect distance to downtown and major interstates.

The apartment was a beautiful place to stay and had ample room for me and my four other guests. Check in was smooth and easy, and the apartment was decently stocked with appliances for cooking and for a longer stay. (If you are planning on cooking here, bring your own knives as the ones in the house are very dull). My friends and I enjoyed the entire apartment but especially the patio; it is a wonderful place to enjoy an early St. Louis morning, and the yard is a very pleasant view. I only give it four out of five stars since the cleanliness left a bit to be desired upon arrival. I would also suggest bringing your own towels to other travelers if you are sensitive to scent, as the bathroom does not have built in ventilation (this is an older building, so you will need to keep the shower door open afterwards to clear the room). Parking is street side, and I had no issues with finding a close spot throughout my stay.

Pros: The location was great, easy access to the freeway and everywhere I needed to be was less than 15 minutes away. The neighborhood was very quiet and parking wasn’t bad at all. The shower was great pressure. I slept like a rock in the bed. Cons:There were spider webs in the bedrooms a large spider in the tub. The house needs updates as well as the bedding. Furniture was dusty. Overall I would give this property a 3.5 with updates it would be a perfect 5

The host was very responsive and flexible. This apartment is very large with plenty of space. FYI It was over 85 degrees while we were there and the air conditioning helped but couldn’t keep up so one night it was 80 degrees. The balcony is pretty small and looks not too solid.

This was a great place to stay with plenty of room and no more than a 7-8 minute drive to everything we wanted to do in St. Louis! The host was incredibly responsive when we had a few questions, the neighborhood was quiet and parking was readily available. The beds were very comfortable and towels were soft and fluffy as well. The only thing that kept this from being 5-stars for us was there was a funny odor from I what I found were some old cleaning supplies that may have been accidentally left in a closet and the kitchen lacked just a few basic needs like a potholder and a cloth or sponge to wash dishes.Otherwise this had everything we needed and the location and host were top tier!

Good communication from host, nice soulard neighborhood close to all of its activities and parking was easy right out front.Unfortunately this property is more run down than the pics suggest. Old paint on cracked walls, musty smell, ac that never cooled below 74 degrees (it was cooler outside!), dirty door moldings and light switches. Queen mattress was very hard and the bed frame squeaked so bad I thought it was going to fall down. Overall would try another property before staying again.
