My view of the frozen St. Lawrence was spectacular, where the beautiful church across the street was also a sight to see as the sun rose each morning. "This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced and a complete waste of money. The hotel was under heavy renovation, yet they continued renting rooms as if everything was normal. There was dust everywhere, plastic sheets covering areas, and a strong paint smell throughout the property. The room itself was unacceptable — dust covered the floors and furniture, making it feel unclean and poorly maintained. The elevator was extremely old, and the corridors did not even have proper flooring finished. The entire place felt more like a construction site than a hotel. Guests should be informed properly before booking, because the current condition is far from suitable for a comfortable stay. Charging full price for such an experience is unacceptable. I will definitely never return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
