Cleaners were still working on other rooms but they were delightful. When I complimented them on the motel overall presentation, they were appreciative as seldom they hear such comments. Later in day we were given a complimentary gift

On arrival I found a note telling me that the air conditioner in my room didn’t work. It was cooler outside than it was in the room. An enterprising organisation would have organised a fan. However, that failure was just the start. The next morning the power was out to over half the units. Not only no lights or anything else – but no hot water either They claimed it was the power company and not the motel that was at fault. That was false – some of the units did have power so it can’t have been the power company. Power was eventually restored, but the delay completely disrupted my travel plans for the day.

Thank you Stephen for taking the time to leave a review on your recent stay with us, and I am sorry to hear that it was an unenjoyable stay for you.Housekeeping advised that the reverse cycle heat pump in your apartment was not working Friday afternoon (we tried to get 2 different electricians to come in and replace this but had no luck) so we made a mad dash down to the hardware store to buy a heater and a fan (no fans available) so we only got the heater. Regarding the power outage on Saturday morning this was Tas Networks issue, we were experiencing something called a "brown out" where we get electricity coming through but not enough to power everything, hence why some apartments had lights on and some didn't. Our maintenance man was on-site and advised the power was back on by approx 8.30am.We are sorry you had a bad start to your morning, I hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your day travelling around our beautiful state!Georges Bay Apartments Team

After reading the description about rooms that included a small kitchen, we were disappointed to realize our studio did not. There was only a tiny fridge, nowhere to sit and eat our breakfast cereal. No way to wash dishes. The instructions said to leave the dirty items near the door for cleanup by staff. We left them inside the door thinking surely they wouldn’t want food scraps left outside. The dishes didn’t get cleaned. It was sub-minimal even by our frugal standards. We cannot recommend a return visit.

Thank you Debra for taking the time to leave a review on your recent stay with us, it appears you may have looked at a self contained apartment but booked the studio room which isn't self contained nor advertised as self contained. There is a breakfast bar bench with stools in all the studio rooms so I am not sure why there was no where to sit?We do ask that if you have dirty dishes you leave them outside your door (which it says that on the note) this way if people want privacy in their room the housekeeping staff can simply replace with clean cutlery & crockery without bothering you.I am sorry to hear your stay was an unpleasant one.Kindest Regards,Georges Bay Apartments Team

Good location in the centre of town
We were staying in room no. 1 which had a lot of well-tended outdoor space. It was roadside/water side, but little traffic, especially after 8pm. The accommodation looked to be newly refurbished with good quality fixtures and fittings, even a wine fridge, what more can you ask!

Lovely overall, only complaints relate to the amount of natural light entering in the early morning which prevents opportunity to sleep in and bathroom feeling very cold due to exhaust fan

A wonderful place to stay. Spacious and clean with the most amazing rain fall shower head and a great sized tv screen as well. The kitchen facilities were an added bonus too.

We loved our stay here. The room was huge, and had everything we could possibly need. Everything was beautifully clean, and modern. The bed was really comfortable. A lovely place to stay.

The room was super small, it sat behind the laundry which was super loud! There are 2 rooms behind one sliding door & the neighbours & who knows who else spent the night going in & out! Get a bigger room if available!

The house is big, very beautiful kitchen and very clear, it would be nice if the house has 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets.

Cosy, clean and lovely water views
Our stay was a very pleasant one. The apartment was clean, cosy and fresh and had a lovely water view. The meals that were prepared were delicious and so was the hot bread that we received on our arrival. I highly recommend the apartment.

Forgot to leave towels. When you get undressed and go to get in shower and find there are no towels, was very annoying. Rang and texted number (fine being a reason), but when you ring another number told to ring or the direct link phone to get no response and trying each 2 times i was getting mad. Waited an hour for a response then another half hour for the towels to arrive which we were told 5 min. Unit was lovely though but a little compensation always go a long way. Otherwise would of given 5.

Very comfortable, newly refurbished apartment with great decor. It is immediately obvious that the owner takes great care of the property and wants their guests to have a very pleasant stay. Across the road from the bay. Easy walk to the town centre. Highly recommend a stay here.

Comfortable. well appointed
Very comfortable apartment. Only reason service down rated was that it was a self admittance arrnagemen, so did not interact with reception. A pleasant ten minute walk to the town centre

There was only one window in the room which was too high to see out of. Made the room claustrophobic. Bigger window in bathroom than in the room itself. Nice little meal area with plates and cutlery but no washing up liquid or tea towel. Never saw any staff, non-contact check in.
