"The location was close to the airport in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s quite far from restaurants and stores so be prepared! It was a comfortable apartment and a short drive to the airport. We enjoyed a nice afternoon walk in the neighborhood; families were out strolling too and enjoying some backyard barbecues!!"

"We loved our stay at the Dreaded Grape cabana. The photos don't do justice to the size of the property in a lovely courtyard with an honesty bar full of cold beers. It's steps away from a quiet beach and easy walking distance to the centre of Caye Caulker. Excellent air conditioning and the cabana was well equipped with coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the terrace for breakfast. Ben was a great host and gave us excellent tips to help us make the most of our stay....

"I am glad I was able to end my vacation at the gecko bungalow. Michelle made sure that everything was taken care of with the multiple shuttles to and from the airport. The bungalow was an oasis and I was very glad to get to experience it with my first trip to Belize. Michelle and Scott made it feel like another home away from home. Being north of the spit meant we had a quiet and private space. The Split water taxis are easy to use and are a unique piece of culture. "At only a few minutes from the airport this place is perfect to start or end your trip on the mainland if you plan to visit other areas and want the ease of travel. Once inside the complex, you truly feel as if you are in a resort- the grounds, the pool, the entire space is carefully thought out to inspire vacation vibes. "This is a great off-the-beaten path location for those who want quiet and no crowds. We loved being able to walk right outside and be by the water or the pool. The house lacked some basics like ice-cube trays, additional throw blankets and enough shampoo to last more than two days, but otherwise was well-appointed. Note, when we were there the inflatable double kayaks were missing their rudders, rending them basically inoperable. But the bikes and canoes were great. Would highly recommend this...
