"My husband, our dog, and I stayed at Blue Whale for two weeks, and it was a wonderful experience. In our opinion, Blue Whale is one of the best values on St. George Island.The location is perfect; there's a beautiful view of the ocean and direct beach access right across the street. It's also within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and everything you need, while still being far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.The house is older, but it is comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing two-week stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the kitchen had everything necessary for preparing meals.Mr. Matthews, the owner, was outstanding. He was always available, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly appreciated his hospitality and attention to detail.We would definitely stay at Blue Whale again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and perfectly located beach cottage on St. George Island."
