The Camel Trail, a flat 18-mile trail that hugs the shoreline of the Camel estuary and travels inland to the delightful market town of Wadebridge, before leading on to Bodmin and the surrounding moors, is an absolute must. You can hire a bike and cycle the trail, in part or all 18 miles - a firm favourite with locals and tourists.
Newquay, Polzeath, Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay plus other hidden coves along this coastline provide some of the best surfing spots in the UK. Padstow harbour also has many day boats that provide fishing trips so you might catch your evening’s supper! This area of Cornwall has a plethora of wonderful days out, be it horse riding, surfing, sailing, diving, fine dining, golf and cycling……..the list is endless. And at the end of each adventure, return to Hobby Lodge, watch the sun go down, marvel at the starlit sky and dream of what tomorrow will bring.
