"The hotel and gardens have been refurbished to an amazing standard, and David & Arielle were excellent hosts with all sorts of helpful holiday tips. Very enjoyable stay."
"As a dog owner, we loved hiw dog friendly the hotel was. Lovely surroundings great staff, very clean, lovely swimming pool, the only downfall was the beds beside the pool were very hard, and we just couldn't sit on them for long, the beds in the grass area were comfortable. The rooms were very clean and spacious,.It was a great location, would definitely return "
"A fine hotel. Decent room, good catering with an eclectic choice both at breakfast and evening meal. This is a premium hotel, and it is reflected in quality in most areas. Recommended. "

The Royal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location, comfortable and classy. Charming and helpful staff. "
"Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. Rooms are accessed via a separate entrance (due to age of the property steps & paths are a little uneven in places) Very clean & spacious (our shower was huge) with lovely sea views. Well stocked tea/coffee tray including water, sweets & biscuits. Large fan for hot weather was very welcome. Communal hallway leading to rooms had wellies available for guests to borrow & a bookcase with lots of local information.
We had lunch, evening meal and breakfast during our stay. Excellent menu & everything we had was of good quality and enjoyable, as were the drinks. Really enjoyed the jug of Pimms on the lovely outside terrace/garden area. "
MANOR ON COAST WITH SEA VIEWS, TENNIS COURT, BIG GAMES ROOM + BAR, GARDENS
10/10 Excellent
"St Lawrence Manor was the perfect place for our large group of 14 adults and 8 children. The place is massive and the grounds were excellent. We all had enough space to gather as a group, but could have our own space too. The games room with bar was the highlight and we loved the tennis court too. Some of the rooms/bathrooms could do with a refresh, but that didn’t effect our stay at all. The large kitchen and dining area was great and perfect for large meals together. We all had an excellent time. "
"We had a lovely few days in this historic house.
Nothing was too much for the owners and the room was so comfortable. We loved the artwork on display in all the rooms and also the old period furniture.
It all had a feeling of life some 100 years ago.
The gardens were extensive and so quiet. The slightly wild look added to the atmosphere of exploring a garden from bygone years that had been left to its own devices.
Would we return one day? Of course we would."
