"Best about the accomodation is being on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Comfortable for a group of 4 persons. Nice hot shower, spacious twin bedroom with bath, cozy place to rest at the end of the day after Eden project and St Ives. Malcolm and Linda were reached able via mobile and email. We didn't have a car but the flat is near St Austell train station, it’s about 25 mins walk. There are buses.But Taxi difficult to book, long waiting time."

"Duporth Lodge is a beautiful place to rent, just outside Charlestown. It was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the eco nature of the Lodge and the free products we were given to try, as well as the cream tea! There are plenty of places to sit inside and out, allowing social and alone time. We had a great day at the private beach too. I loved the information about the Lodge, which was fascinating. Duporth Lodge is on top of a hill, and the walk to Charlestown and the beach is steep in places. Its near to Bodmin, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock, and the Eden project. An amazing rental and we had a wonderful holiday here."

"Our family of four plus dog had a wonderful week at Harlequin Cottage. The amenities were great in this spotless gem which is in a great location to travel to all of the sights of Cornwall (everywhere we wanted to visit was within an hours drive). The garden and off street parking is very secure. Welcome touches such as milk, fizz and biscuits were appreciated after a long journey. Whatever the weather Harlequin Cottage is a great base for the family, lovely outdoor facilities to enjoy in the sun and a very cosy, easy to use wood burner which was very welcome after a rainy boat ride seal spotting in St. Ives! Charlestown is a lovely harbour village, we particularly were impressed with the food and friendly staff at the dog friendly Boat House.Overall a great stay, we would highly recommend and/or visit again."
