The Pink House....a Modern Pool House and Tropical Paradise

The PINK HOUSE is a tropical pool home located in the desirable Davis Shores neighborhood. This rental is for the entire home with private pool. A short 5-minute walk over the Bridge of Lions, and you are in the heart of historic downtown St Augustine.
This home has been upgraded and appointed with brand new modern furnishings with every detail considered for a luxury vacation lifestyle in mind. The pool is heated to 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter months.

PRIME LOCATION
We like to say it’s the 10 Minute house. The Pink House is conveniently located to many restaurants, shopping, and attractions all within a 10-minute walk, bike ride, or drive. These popular and historic attractions are all close by.

FLOOR PLAN
The Pink House is cozy and has an efficient and open floor plan. It lives larger than its actual square footage.
It’s a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with ample space for king beds and dressers. The master bedroom has a shower. Included in the master bedroom is a Smart TV with complimentary Comcast Xfinity programming with HBO. The guest bedroom has a tub/shower combination and opens out to the pool and luscious backyard and outdoor dining area. The home has Comcast high-speed Internet(up to 1200 mbps downloads) with Wi-Fi throughout. A/C and heat are within all bedrooms and living/dining areas.

ENTERTAINING at its best!
KITCHEN
The upgraded kitchen is well appointed with all the dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and serving dishes you need to entertain guests. The home has new appliances, a farmhouse sink, ample and modern cabinetry, quartz countertops, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and the washer and dryer are close by in the garage. Located outside the kitchen door is a new gas grill with cooking utensils. Outdoor, unbreakable dishes and glasses are also included in the pool area.

LIVING ROOM
The living room is furnished with two couches and additional seating, original hardwood floors, and has views looking out towards the front yard and the tropical pool area. A large Smart TV is central and Infinity programming and HBO are included. The pool area can be accessed from the living room and pool towels are supplied.

OUTDOORS and PARKING
One of the best features of the home is the luscious, mature landscaping of the pool area. This private oasis has a variety of native greenery, a hammock, multiple lounge areas, and large umbrella. The home is nestled beneath a canopy of stately oak trees, palms, elephant ears, and other tropical plants. The large heated(in winter months), kidney-shaped pool is relaxing and includes pool floats. An outdoor dining area is set up under a beautiful pergola for a candlelight dinner. Right outside of the living room, near the pool, is a lounge area, the perfect place to nap or read a book out of the sun.
There are four parking spaces in the front driveway and one space in the garage.

Security cameras are on the front of home for extra security.

The PINK HOUSE has passed a thorough safety inspection required by the City of St. Augustine. Included as required are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, exit floor plans, and emergency lighting for power outages.

This property is ideal for two couples or a "friends get-a-way" for four. We ask that guests be conscientious of playing loud music and rowdy behavior, as this neighborhood is quiet and we want to respect our neighbors. If you are looking for a rowdy, stay-up-late-and-party vacation, this is not the ideal spot for you. However, if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway in a beautiful space, you will love this property!

October getaway

My wife and I stayed for a week, the house is immaculate, beautiful with a great pool! Walking distance to St.Augustine and many restaurants close by. We enjoyed nightly walks and bike rides! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Peaceful relaxation

A pleasant relaxing getaway with many amenities and activities nearby! We were able to walk to almost anywhere that we wished to visit and were able to relax in the back yard by the pool for days that we wished to stay in. This place has everything we needed to feel at home but luxurious enough to feel spoiled as well. We loved our stay!

Property was lovely, well maintained and clean. The yard and the pool was a gem. Darlene, the point of contact was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We visited for 6 days with the aim to relax and recharge the batteries and we were able to do so. The area is quiet and the pool time was very secluded/shaded with all the foliage. We loved the short walkable distance to the bridge of Lions and the restaurants in the down town district. The welcome basket was a lovely addition. all in all we gave this trip and property 12 out of 10, two thumbs up etc. Would recommend it to all wanting a quiet week in a lovely city.

Perfect Getaway

This is our second year of staying at the Pink House during our vacation to St. Augustine. The home is in a nice area and is an easy walk to downtown. The backyard is a vacation of it's own. The house has all the essentials needed. Darlene... the manager... was quick to respond to any texts sent to her. The home is spotless and very comfortable.

Love the Pink House

Beautiful, well-located home in a quiet neighborhood in St. Augustine just across the Bridge of Lions less and than a mile from the Old town. A new grill and a FULLY-equipped kitchen made cooking easy when we weren't at one of the many fabulous local restaurants. The picturesque back yard with heated pool made staying at home much too attractive however the lure of the nearby beaches tempted us often. The owners, Darlene and Hal, are spectacular. They are accommodating, friendly, available at all hours and simply nice people. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in their magnificent Pink House.

The house is in a great location, super close to everything and the neighborhood is wonderful! The house was very clean. We actually stayed while a storm hit and the host was very attentive about making sure we felt safe and that the property was cleaned up after the storm. From the moment we booked the PINK HOUSE through check out was flawless! Huge thanks to the owners for making everything you need at your fingertips. The house and pool are both inviting and gorgeous. The yard simply can’t be described in a few words. It’s a breathtaking work of art by a true gardenista. The decor is inviting and tastefully done. All it took was one look at the photo of the backyard/pool area and my wife shouted, "Book it". That area lived up to expectation. Very relaxing, comfortable, and beautiful. Sally is extremely attentive and a wonderful hostess. Highly recommend The Pink House.

Loved this place

This home is clean, comfortable & tastefully decorated. It’s located across the bridge from the heart of the city but super close. We loved the backyard oasis and enjoyed the pool after daily tours. Large pool towels were provided. We were greeted with a generous basket of goodies which we enjoyed. I don’t think there was anything we needed that wasn’t there for our use. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Incredible stay!!!!

We stayed at the Pink House for 3 weeks and every minute of it was SPECTACULAR! Mainly because of the property manager, Sally Lewis. From the minute we inquired about the booking, through our entire stay and even after we left- she was incredibly responsive and attentive. The house has an amazing pool with modern furniture and beautiful neighborhood. Guest bed was very comfortable as well. We will definitely be coming back and are so impressed w the very personal touch Sally Lewis provided to make our stay as wonderful as it was :)

Christmas In Paradise

Itz true!! Good things happen in Pink Houses. It was the coldest Christmas in over 30 years when we arrived. The house was equipped with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. It was decorated to perfection! We were welcomed with a beautiful basket of snacks and suggestions for local dining. We loved every minute of Our stay. Spectacular Pool Area!

I stay at rental properties regularly. Our staylat the Pink House was wonderful. The home was perfect for the 3 of us. Amenities were top notch. Kitchen didn't lack anything that we might have desired. Nice modern furnishing. Beds were comfortable. We spent much of our time in or around the pool, the landscape is amazing! We had hoped for a pool area that provided a bit of privacy. The spectacular landscape provided not only privacy but the wonder of nature with huge live oak trees and tropical splendor in the variety of exquisite plants was breathtaking. I hope to come back again.
