  • Oceanfront 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath corner unit. It is furnished with a king in the master bedroom, one twin & set of bunk beds in the guest room and a sofa sleeper in the living room. There are two TV's, a DVD player, and two VCR's. You can enjoy the benefit of tile while downstairs which makes for an easier clean up from any sand that may make its way into your unit. The upstairs is carpeted for a cozy home like feel. Tile floors downstairs, carpet upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen complete with a dishwasher. Unit has a washer/dryer and its own internet access to save your phone on data.

Summerhouse is fantastic! SH 353 is showing its age.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Summerhouse is a wonderful location to enjoy some winter weeks. Unit SH 353 is larger than most other and has more windows. However, the unit badly needs updating (e.g. upstairs carpet and living room sofas.)

Everything we are looking for in a longterm rental.My only suggestion for this unit is to get more modern plumbing fixtures. The shower head in the master bathroom needs an upgrade.We enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to keep coming back for many years to come.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this unit for many years and love it. A few suggestions: the A/C might need the freon checked. The unit had a hard time cooling during the day but caught up at night. Also, all of the carpets, freestanding and regular carpets, may need to be steam cleaned. Our feet kept getting dirty walking around the unit. Other than those two things, we loved our stay in the unit.

Comfortable accommodations and very pleased with the amenities and activities provided. Property was clean and accommodating. Few minor adjustments such as a new shower head in the master bath as the water pressure is low. Reported to office master bath had a drain stop malfunction, loose handrail to the second floor and a few lightbulb replacements which are currently not attended to.We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.Loved our stay and hope to return for a longer time next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Summerhouse! The location near the end of Crescent Beach is amazing, laid back, relaxing. There was a nice added touch of on property fireworks provided by Summerhouse for the Fourth of July. The office staff seemed to be in transition with new, inexperienced staff during this very busy week. Unit 353 is all about location - an end of building unit with extra entry space, extra balcony space, extra windows with exceptional beach views and a large primary bedroom. The unit itself is lack-luster with dated furnishings, 1980's (original) kitchen and bathroom counters and fixtures. However, we do not come to Summerhouse to sit inside so we overlook the interior and revel in the fun-in-the-sun experiences at the beach and pool side. Heading back in 2024!

There were many window screens missing throughout the entire condo. Slider curtains were yucky so we left them open the entire 3 months we lived there.
