Mid-Century Pool Home Between Downtown & Beach

Situated in Davis Shores, this Saint Augustine pool home is in a great central location: One mile north is historic downtown, and one mile south is the entrance to the Anastasia State Park, the closest (and the best) beach in town. Spend a few days here and we think you'll agree: Davis Shores is the ideal Oldest City neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful, yet walking distance to some of the best breweries, bars and restaurants.

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two light-filled living rooms (each with their own Smart TV's), and a screened in pool, this property suits a variety of needs. While most of the homes original 80’s features still live on today, it's furnished with brand new, comfortable mid-century flair, and designed for true vacation leisure.

In the backyard, you'll find a large, screened-in pool with an outdoor dining table and 5-burner propane grill, nestled beneath a massive live oak tree and surrounded by lush green foliage. Totally private, the screen enclosure also helps keep bugs away, making it the perfect spot to lounge during any time of the day.

With a fully stocked kitchen, plus a garage with washer and dryer, beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella, you'll find everything you need for stays both short and long. (Discounts for longer bookings!) Plus, you'll find a custom welcome book with curated recommendations for fantastic local restaurants, beaches and activities.

-Maximum six guests
-While the pool is screened, there is no safety gate for children. By making a reservation, you agree we are not liable for any accidents or injuries in or around the pool.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more for our 5 night stay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, attractions and the beaches. The pool area is lush and private with plenty of seating. Zander was very quick to answer any questions I had. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. If you are visiting St Augustine and looking for a place to stay, this is a great choice!

Everything was great and we really enjoyed it. The only problem was once I had to use the washer there was a really bad sewer smell, and it took it awhile to leave.

Cozy vibes

This house was in a perfect location for me and my wife. We were able to get to the beach within minutes as well as the Alligator Farm, mini golf, and the historic downtown area. We really enjoyed the comfort this place provided us after getting tuckered out on the town. Thanks for the great stay.

Outstanding pool home in St Augustine. Centrally located between historic St Augustine(walkable) and St Augustine Beach. If VRBO offered a 10-Star review this place would deserve it hands down! So close to everything St Augustine has to offer including, but not limited to, an almost endless offering of top-shelf restaurants & coffee shops(many walkable). Probably one of the finest short term rentals we’ve ever experienced. Better than the pictures!!

Great location -- close to everything yet feels like in a neighborhood

The property is just a pictured and actually feels more open. The kitchen was very well equipped, as result we cooked several nights. There is an amazing Chop Shop near by with the aged steaks and fish. Yum. Easy walk to the Lions Bridge, and the Light House. Getting to the beach is a bit longer as the entrance to the State Park is a mile and then it is about another mile or so to the beach. No issues for us!! We enjoyed walking everywhere including to Mass at the Cathedral on Sunday and to several wonderful shops near (including the chocolate shop!)

Needs lots of TLC. There was soap scum and hair in the bathroom and on the bed. Took a day to get a response i was traveling to work and didn’t have tome to be looking for another place. The blinds in the main bedroom were broken and font cover the entire window

My family loved how accessible this property was to historic St. Augustine- we walked most places. The private pool was extremely popular for my teenage boys. The beach was just a short drive from the property- cannot wait to go back!

Location! Location! Location!

Our family has stayed many times in St Augustine over the past 30 years and this property is an ideal location for everything you could want to do! Many great restaurants in the neighborhood and just a lovely 15-20 min walk over the Bridge of Lions to the historic Downtown. So close to the beautiful beach at the state park. The house was very comfortable for 6 adults and was well equipped

Not a good experience

There was a terrible mildew smell throughout the house. I thought air conditioner and fans would help. It did not. I woke up at 3 am and left by 4:30 am. Two days after I returned home, there is still a strong mildew smell in my cpap machine. Will not return nor recommend this location.

60th birthday party girls weekend!

Fortunately, Hurricane Helene did not stop us from being able to enjoy our stay here in St. Augustine! The home was exactly as described in both words and pictures. It was very comfortable for three of us, and we enjoyed time in each space in the house. The pool was great to cool down in and having it screened in was a plus. Zander was a very responsive host - answering any questions we had ahead of time, as well as during our stay. We'd definitely choose to stay here again in the future!
