The Space:
The main house is where you will be staying. You have a private courtyard in the back where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or wine.
The inside of this 1910 home (it is actually a house purchased from the Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog in 1909) on the first floor is an open concept with tons of windows and natural light. You will find the living and dining room there along with the kitchen and downstairs bathroom.
The second floor includes both bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom, which is part of the master bedroom. These spaces were designed to be simple and peaceful. A place to read, relax, and worry about nothing.
There is a beautiful covered front porch to sit and watch the rain if that is your thing or you can enjoy your private back patio with all of the beautiful butterfly and pollinator plants we have added so you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view!
Guest Access:
Parking - the primary parking spot is the driveway to the left of the house. . There is a keypad to access the front door so no need to worry about keys.
Walking is the easiest way to get around town once you have settled in. There is additional parking if you have more than one vehicle as well.
The Neighborhood:
The Abbott Tract is the oldest neighborhood in St. Augustine. It is a quiet neighborhood two blocks north of the fort. As you explore the area you can see all of the old houses and views of the river as you walk around.
Getting Around:
You are in the main house and the parking space is right by the front door. Most guests find that once they park their car they can walk around and never have to drive their car for the rest of the visit!
Other Things to Note:
You will be located just 5 minutes walk to the city gates at the beginning of the world famous St. George Street.
You will also be just a 5 minute walk to Francis Field if you are visiting for one of the many events they hold there throughout the year.
