Cute & Comfy Renovated Beach Condo - Anastasia Island, St. Augustine Beach.

  • Pier Point South is an intimate condominium complex located on the beach in beautiful and historic St. Augustine. Beach. Next door to Anastasia State Park and adjacent to the famous St. Augustine Pier, our renovated condo is quiet, comfortable and modern, with a beach view, steps from the ocean you will be in the very best location on the island! Walk to awesome restaurants and even a Starbucks in the hotel right next door:) catch the awesome farmers market literally next door every Wednesday- local foodies and artisans and you don’t have to worry about parking because it’s right there! Antonio’s Pizza and Rita’s Italian Ices and even a lovely art gallery featuring local St. Augustine artists…all right outside our door!
    Two bedrooms. Master has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a chic double sized daybed with a pullout twin trundle bed and can comfortably sleep two grown ups or probably three or four kiddos. There is also both a double sized and twin sized air mattress and a comfortable sofa to entertain your overnight guests and visiting family! The kitchen is fully equipped and there is Roku TV as well as local cable TV. High speed internet. Please inquire with any questions we will be happy to tend to your every need.

Very clean, pictures were very representative of the property, nice pool, short walk to the beach and restaurant (all right off property) plus lots of great amenities that make a difference from storage space, beach chairs and toys, makeup towels, hooks for towels, board games. It was perfect!

This was the second year we stayed here and have already reserved for next year. The unit is very comfortable and is perfectly located for activities and dining. The beach is wonderful. This was an amazing property with everything we could have asked for. Very nice updated look and appliances in kitchen. Bathrooms also updated and clean. The location is everything here, feet from pool and less than 100 yards from the beach. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely consider returning!

St. Augustine Beach Stay

The St. Augustine Beach area is very nice and close to the ocean and having the pool outside our door was a plus…even if the weather didn’t fully cooperate. The reason for 3 star cleanliness is a miscommunication by the individual paid to do the cleaning, that has since been corrected and new staff has been engaged from what we understand. The communication with owners was excellent.

Great location; pool 75' away from patio door, beach 400'. Sofas made great sleeping beds for teens. Walk-up pizza place next door. Felt safe walking to nearby gas station at 9 pm. Splash park within 5 minute walk. Quiet at night. Karine was terrific resolving a little issue when we arrived.

Lovely getaway

The property and grounds were spacious and pleasant. The location was excellent - a short walk to the beach, an even shorter walk to the pool, great restaurants, ice cream shops, beach and surf shops nearby, and a short drive into St. Augustine.Communicating with the host was quick and convenient. We were a group of 6 adults (parents and grown kids) and we had room to spread out. Full kitchen was also equipped with an air fryer, toaster, toaster oven, and microwave. Cleanliness could have been been better. Some of the dishes in the cabinets still has residue, there were food remnants (breakfast cereal) one bedroom slipper, and used acrylic nails under the couch. It seemed that the living area wasn't swept thoroughly. Despite these things, the home is fairly well maintained and beautifully decorated. The AC worked very well and we appreciated the air mattresses! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Deep clean needed

Great location and adorable condo! Pictures are close to what you get. The condo was updated but a deep clean is necessary. There is a strong urine smell from the master bath and the shower needs to be scrubbed. Sheets and pillows were stained. Coffee pot still had filter with grounds and pot had dried coffee. Light switches and white trim plus closet doors in master bath need to be scrubbed. Loved the beach decor but second bedroom had too much furniture.

Great Location/Needs Deep Clean

The property is nicely updated and could've been a much better experience if it was cleaned better. I saw a previous review stating that it needed to be cleaned better and sent a message to the owner that I was concerned about this. I never heard anything back and when we got there the master bathroom shower especially needed a good cleaning. The toilet in the master had a strong urine smell the whole time. The louvered closet doors were caked with dust. The whole place just needs a deep clean. It wasn't filthy, but it wasn't what I expect when I pay that much each night. If cleanliness doesn't matter to you, then you won't have a problem. The M. bedroom could use some new sheets and pillows, as these were worn and flat. Half of the beach towels were outside on the patio furniture, so we had less to use. That being said, it is on the beach, in a great location with plenty of restaurants close by. The pool is large and lovely.

Location location location

The entire complex is definitely dated!! The owner of this unit has definitely done nice upgrades, which made the stay much nicer for the property itself being so old. The beach access nearest our unit was nonexistent, which was a real bummer! Had to walk down to the next access instead. I didn't like the walkout patio....it smelled gross. Not very inviting to just sit and enjoy the outside. And the patio does not face the beach; it faces the pool directly. The pool was nice, though, and the little keyfob to enter the pool was very easy to use. There are 4 decent beach chairs to use, along with several boogie boards. That was nice. There's also a toybox full of different beach toys for the kiddos. The entire patio, along with the toys and chairs and boards, could all use a good showering off because everything looks dirty. The kitchen is well equipped! Beach towels are provided. This location is only about 10 minutes from St. George Street. We found everything to be relatively close by. The custard place next door is good but expensive. A one-size only concrete is over $9 and they're not that big. The pizza place right next to the custard place was REALLY good. Plenty of places to eat near this condo, a couple within walking distance. The beach was SO NICE. Flat, no seaweed, a few shells. Very rocky when you first enter the ocean so be careful riding the waves all the way in or you'll scrape your knees! Hope this review helps!
