Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony Suite with Onsite Front desk and staff

You'll find a tropical paradise when you stay in this balcony suite, "the upper deck" as the owners like to call it. This beautiful top floor condo will have you wanting to stay longer, with comfortable tall back patio chairs. Step inside your picture perfect sliding glass door and relax in ocean blues. The vibrant sleeper sofa and enjoyable recliner are the best spot to enjoy the 47" flat screen tv or the ocean view. The glass top table provided padded chairs for a more comfortable dining experience. The full kitchen has a stove with oven, smaller countertop microwave and a large LG refrigerator with freezer on the bottom. Tile throughout is the only way to go with oceanfront living. The step in shower in the bathroom has beautiful blue glass tile and accents. The large vanity mirror is an extra benefit. When it's time to retreat, nothing but a comfortable king size bed and a 42" flat screen TV will do. With ceiling fans both in the living room and bedroom, this condo is one tropical paradise that is just so easy and breezy with enjoyment. No Pets allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Great Weekend Getaway!

The condo was perfect for a 1 night weekend getaway. The view was incredible, the property was peaceful and the location was an easy drive to St. Augustine and all the fun activities. The check in staff was extremely helpful, too. We will definitely be back.

Very quiet stay with my wife. The balcony is amazing! The two comfortable chairs are perfect for sitting, sipping a glass of wine and watching the waves crash in. Perfect little spot for the two of us.

May Visit

These Gold Star units are among the clean, well decorated condo spaces. The view of ocean below is exceptional. The pool is unusually large (maybe 40' x 70') and well maintained. Security, on site maintenance, and hospitality are all exceptional.

The unit had everything we could have needed. The coffee maker had filters and the bathroom had a wonderful smelling soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The king bed was too soft for my liking so I used the pull out couch which was nice and Firm. I could still hear the waves through the closed sliding door! Office workers were friendly and helpful. Laundry was a plus! Was also happy they had pet free units.

Nice getaway

The view was amazing. It was more relaxing than anything. The room it self was not as clean as I would have desired. The floor was sandy, and had crumbs everywhere. There were hairs in the restroom and on the blankets. It just needed a little more TLC and a thorough cleaning. The location was so so... not much to do outside of eating and wallking on the beach without a fifteen min car ride. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just make sure that the condo has been cleaned thoroughly! We spent mosy of our time on the balcony. Caught so.e great sunrises and sunsets.

Perfect View

This is our second time at Beacher's Lodge and this time we were on the fourth floor middle. It is a better view than our previous rental due to being a straight at the ocean and beach view. We especially liked the higher chairs on the balcony because I sit short and with a traditional chair I'd be looking at the railing balcony. The decor was cute. Loved all the photographs of the wildlife and beach. The folder of restaurants and activities was a help, too. This is a great rental for a couple--it might be too small for a family. I was able to slip out each morning and watch the sunrise without disturbing my still sleeping spouse. It's hard to say what is my favorite thing about Beacher's Lodge. It has to be a tie between the beach and the pool with the staff coming in at third. It is reasonably close to everything without the chaos that is St. Augustine.

Only negative for us was that there was a king bed rather than a queen. Because the bedroom is small for a queen, a king takes up nearly all the surface room. A queen would allow for a dresser rather than tripping over suitcases and beach items. The deck was lovely—the furniture some of the highest quality we’ve ever had. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We do wish the elevator could be accessed from the parking lot. It is extremely hard to push a fully loaded cart up the incline.

We spend a lot of time on the balcony and love that. The whole property is well kept and the staff is just so friendly and helpful! We love that you can book and, if plans change, you can cancel or rebook without penalty as long as you do it in a timely fashion as they outline in the rental agreement. We will never go anywhere else for our annual beach trip.

The view overlooking the Ocean was great with 2 comfortable chairs on the balcony. Access to the beach was convenient allowing long walks on the beach. There was a Publix with a 5 minute drive. Giving 4 stars for cleanliness due to ants.The Cons; The living room only had bright overhead “interrogation”lights without a dimmer switches and no table lamp! (We moved a bedroom table lamp into the living room for the duration). The A1A road noise that came from the bedroom single pane window made it difficult to sleep...motorcycles into the late evenings and semi trucks starting at 5am! The bed mattress comfort was average at best. While it’s Florida, there were small ghost ants in every room and on most surfaces of this approximate 400 Sq/ft condo. The size of the unit was adequate for two for a short two night stay, but for four? That would be a “stretch”! The size of the unit was not apparent on the description.I would find it difficult to return or recommend to a friend particularly when considering the cost.
