This house has 3 bedroom, 3 Bathroom and is just 50 steps from the beach. This beautiful beachy chic home is filled with all new furnishings and vintage decor. The open floor plan and new Kitchen has entertainment for Adults and seperate area for kids. All this throughout makes the 1520 sq ft house live even larger. With 2 master suites both with private baths, 1 standard bedrooms . It makes for a perfect family reunion or a friends getaway.

Great place, great time and great freinds!

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach House in Vilano Beach. The property was just as described. John was very responsive to any questions or inquires. If we are back in the area we will definitely keep this place in mind. The beach was very close and the price was right!

A perfect place for a family get together!

We had an amazing 3-night getaway at this home for our family reunion in St. Augustine—6 adults and one pup. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach path!The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. John, the host, was quick to respond and helpful with anything we needed.As a Travel Advisor, I’ll absolutely be recommending this property to my clients.Just a heads-up: all bedrooms are on the second floor, so it may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.

Beach getaway

We stayed for 6 days, house was perfect. It was clean, had everything we needed. It is right across the street from the beach!! Plenty of decks and outdoor space. It was lovely!! We brought our lab with us and she loved it also!! Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Vilano Beach

The house is in a great location for the beach. Just walk across the 2-lane Coastal Hwy. Rarely stand there over a minute waiting for an opening to cross. The house is good. My only issue was the inside spiral staircase. We were up and down it ALOT going to and from the kitchen and living room. One of my dogs also had an issue going up and down it. Overall great vacation.

Summer Vacation

We loved the chill vibe of the house and all the beach equipment that’s included. There’s a footpath over the dunes at the end of the street that’s very convenient. We hope to make another trip back to stay here again!

Comfortable Beach House

Well located close to the beach. All the essentials are provided as well as many beach items (towels, chairs, toys, kayak, etc.).Large washer and dryer. Plenty of hot water. Several covered porches with comfortable furniture.

Delightful spot

We found this house comfortable and attractive. Lots of good places to relax. John was a good host—very responsive to a few minor appliance issues. Very close to beach in a nice neighbourhood, if a bit noisy grime the A1A so close.

We loved the property! The house was so unique, we love the Vilano area. My wife and I have been coming to Florida in the summer for 24 years. The house was close to the beach which is always a plus but more than anything we loved the owners. John and Iris are the best! If you find a property they own we highly recommend booking!

Plenty of room and supplies for all of us! Easy walk to the beach! John was very good with communication. Showed up a few times to cut grass/ spray for bugs. Was a little shocking because we were expecting it, but it needed done! Would stay again.

A wonderful holiday stay

This clean, lovely beach house was the ideal size for our group of 4 adults, 2 children, and 1 pet. We all appreciated the separate sitting/entertainment areas on each floor, and most especially the 3 full bathrooms on the bedroom level. Having the beach just a few steps away was fantastic (although busy A1A does have to be crossed), and the river at the other end of the quiet street was nice for sunsets (also easy to view from the top deck). The changeable winter weather kept us from enjoying the outside decks and porches as often as we would have liked, but the house was very well supplied with books, puzzles, games, and 2 large TVs for rainy-day entertainment. There were also lots of beach toys that the kids had fun using (many sand castles were constructed). The home decor was coastal, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Most of the furniture had washable covers, and surfaces were easy to clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and having a full-sized washer and dryer was very convenient.Perhaps the only thing I might mention is that the house would be difficult for someone with mobility challenges because of the stairs. But we had a great visit and I would love to stay there again.

Short vacation

Loved it overall, probably should have thought twice about property with spiral staircase ( little old and broken to be going up and down those ) that’s on us though. Just a couple things both minor. The threshold pieces need to be be better secured at the doorways a couple are loose we tend to drag our feet and almost tripped on them. Be clearer property is across the street from beach, not that much farther and not a big deal. Some pictures need updating as well. Had a great time overall and personally recommend Vilano 180 bar and grill for dining, they have some unique offerings (very tasty, good service).

Hanging Out Like the Locals!

We found this wonderful home when we were looking for a beach stay while we attended a concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheater (which is an incredible venue!). We loved the front porch for reading in the evenings, and the back porch for breakfast and lazy mornings. Three bedrooms, three baths on the upper floor. Kitchen, dining, half bath on ground level. Our host, John, was always accommodating and quick to make us feel at home. The neighborhood was lovely for walking our dog. Our favorite evening routine became watching the sunset over the river at Aunt Kate's and walking back home. Crossing A1A is the only difficulty (warning to be very cautious, especially with children in tow) to get on the beach immediately. We enjoyed every sunrise and several moon-lit nights - as well as the uncrowded days. Once you set foot over the dunes, the only sound is the pounding of the waves. The interior staircase is a spiral. The exterior staircase was sometimes easier for us to navigate (with a stair challenged rescue dog and my arthritic knee) - but it was great to have both options available. Also the beach is reached by two sets of stairs - not deep and both with handrails. We loved our visit and would enjoy staying there again!

The house was close to the beach. Three balconies, a small deck on top of the house for viewing the sky, sunrises and sunsets, and nice-sized bedrooms. Very enjoyable time.

Beachside Bliss
