Great Downtown location only 2 Blocks to the Historic District, and 3 miles to the beach this 2017 Remodel combines the Old World charm of Heart of Pine Wood Floors & 1919 Claw Foot Tub with the NEW look of Marble and Glass. Check out the WALK THRU Videos under the Floor Plan Tab. It is the best way to get a feel of the house. Just use your mouse to walk thru. I think you will love it.
Located on the 2nd Floor of the Lemon Guesthouse, the Palm View is designed with a versatile floor plan. You can rent just the Upstairs Palm View shown here with 3 King Bedrooms & 2 Baths sleeping 9 or add 1st Floor for an additional Kitchen, Greatroom w/Sleeper Sofa, King Bedroom and 1.5 Baths sleeping an additional 5 Guests (See Secret Garden below for details or CLICK HERE). The Greatroom with Large Smart TV (4 TVs in all) has plenty of seating with a Leather Queen Sleeper Sofa + Love Seat & 2 Swivel Chairs. It features a unique 2 Headed Revolving Fan you will love and gorgeous original gray hand stained Heart of Pine Floors. I have also included Cards and some of my favorite Board Games. The Best is Rubi
The Kitchen is from my old Homestead in Tennessee. The cabinets are Poplar. They were originally built over 50 years ago and even at that time the wood was antique. Supposedly these Poplars died out long ago and you cannot buy the wood anymore. My Father found it when they were tearing down an old Elementary School in my home town of Shelbyville Tennessee (Walking Horse Capital of the World if you have heard of us). I always loved them as a child. So when I heard they were tearing down my homestead I had to save them. I have spent hours restoring them. I hope you will appreciate them and an Old Farm Sink which I salvaged. The is a New SOAP STONE Counter Island for extra seating and a Handmade Butcher Block Coffee Bar. New Stainless Appliances. Lovingly White Washed Pine Ceiling. Unique Dining Table with Lazy Susan + another Revolving Fan.
There are 3 Bedrooms. All with King Beds, Smart TVs & Fee Wifi.
The Master with Private Bath was originally a Sleeping Porch. I enclosed it, raised it and added Light Pine Floors. It has a King Bed + a Fold-down Sofa for extra Sleeping or relaxing. The Bath is all Marble Floors and Glass. I fell in love with the Spa Glass Doors and used them to access the Bath and Closet and carried the Glass look into the Shower with floor to ceiling Subway Glass Tiles. The Vanity is Marble topped with unique retro Faucet. And there is large Marble floored Close with window. It is so large we added a desk so you can use it as a remote private Office or for a Pack-N-Play, available upon request.
Bedroom 2 has a similar but smaller walkin closet and shares a bath with Bedroom 3. Both have King Beds! I have learned what you want. (I agree after one night on a King it is hard to go back).
The Bath has the "Original" Claw Foot Tub stamped with a 1919 date. We added a shower option as shown in the photos but my Husband and I only do "Tubs". I strongly recommend a bubble bath. This is the time to relax. You are on vacation! Also check out the "Blue" Night Light in that bath. Very soothing.
There is a Laundry on the first floor.
Bed Linens & Towels are provided. Both Bath and Beach.
Outside is a private Paver Patio with Dining and romantic String Lights overhead. The Grill that can go Gas or Charcoal.
And we provide Beach Chairs, Towels and Boogie Boards.
2 Parking Spots in the Alley and public parking on Riberia.
LOCATION - We are located Downtown at 67 1/2 Lemon St only 5 miles to my favorite beach called St Augustine Beach just south of Anastasia Park over the Bridge of Lions. There is plenty of parking & public restrooms + amazing Restaurants. Even a great Farmer Market on Wednesdays and in the Summer FREE Wednesday night outdoor concerts! The sand is perfect for building Sand Castles. The waves are great for Surfing. We provide Boogie Boards or you can rent Surf Boards and take lessons or rent bikes at A Street. Towels and Beach Chairs provided.
You should also check out Vilano Beach just 3 miles to the north. Be sure and have Happy Hour at Caps on the Intracoastal and sit outside in the open seating to the far right and watch the sun set. Definitely worth the drive.
But you will find so much to do Downtown you will probably only go the Beach the first day. Downtown is a world all its own. Simply Charming. Especially at night with the lights twinkling and the sound of music filling the streets. Great Restaurants. Great History. Great People. All walking distance from your door. What more do you want? The floors are beautiful White Marble throughout. It includes a second Greatroom with Smart TV and Queen Sleeper Sofa. Fully stocked Kitchen made from the same Tennessee Poplar. A Second Laundry.
There is a Half Bath in the Greatroom for Guests and a Huge Master Bedroom with Private Marble Bath, of course a King Bed plus a roll-out Single Trundle. Great for a "Little One". There is also a giant Walk-in Closet with room for Pack N Play. You will recognize my beloved Glass Spa Doors like upstairs and this time a Marble & Glass Shower with removable Hand-Held Shower Head. The Vanity is Marble with Twin Sinks and loads of hooks.
A frosted mural glass door leads to a private "Secret Garden" with a second Grill and Covered Dining area. So you can have 2 private outdoor spaces. And it has a dedicated Parking spot in the Alley which makes a total of 3 dedicated Parking Spots.

We had a wonderful time seeing the Christmas lights! We’ve visited St. Augustine several times before but never at Christmas…it was definitely a beautiful time of year to go! The location and accommodations were wonderful!
The location of this house is perfect. Within walking distance of everything. We stayed upstairs and also rented the downstairs 1 bedroom. The property was clean, updated, and had all the little things we needed. Will definitely stay again! Thank you Linda! We had a great experience.
Great place, two parking spots, close to everything clean & has everything needed for your stay. I have nothing bad to say about this gem. Only thing I would need is a place for my furbaby to use the potty on site. There is an empty lot on the corner to use though. Over all 10 out of 10.
We so enjoyed our week in St. Augustine staying at the Palm View. It was in easy walking distance of all the attractions, and allowed us to spread out and enjoy some down time as well. We loved the king beds in every bedroom. Linda was a wonderful host, very kind, helpful, and immediate with her response. I would highly recommend!
We did wear ourselves out exploring downtown and many area attractions. It was so nice to walk to downtown and come back to a comfortable spot to rest. The space was very clean. Linda was very responsive and answered a few questions regarding the area. Thanks for a great stay.
The location of this B&B is perfect. Within walking distance of everything you'd like to experience. We stayed upstairs and had two designated parking spots. A great plus for St Augustine. The property was clean, updated, and had all the little things needed in a B&B. The property owner greeted us and was very pleasant. She and her designated representative are very responsive and polite! Will definitely stay again! Thank you Linda & James. We had a great experience.
We stayed for a day, but everything was perfect. It is a great location, just minutes from downtown.
It was a bit confusing to find the parking lot, and the towels could be a bit better quality. But other than that the place is perfect.

This was a great property - super convenient to downtown, which is what we really wanted. No driving needed. House was clean and very comfortable. The only suggestions we would make is to provide frying pans - it was cumbersome to cook breakfast with the one pan provided. And to definitely add a window covering to the master bath window. We felt very exposed when using the facilities or shower knowing the neighbors could easily see in if they chose to. Otherwise, it was a wonderful property and we would definitely book again.
My family and I had a great trip and enjoyed staying at this VRBO. The location was fantastic and so we walked everywhere we went in town. We had everything we needed to cook, which is nice. The beds were super comfortable and loved that they were all king size. We'll stay again.
The location was great to either walk into downtown or a quick drive to the most beautiful beaches. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE and it was really a wonderful place to stay.
The unit is well maintained, centrally located, and the beds are very comfortable. Just beware that there is a unit below this one that can hear whatever you do (footsteps, talking, etc.).
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay...property just as described and very clean. Perfect size for 6 people. Convenient to downtown retail and the beach in a walkable neighborhood. Really liked the grill and patio area; the kitchen was fully stocked and even had an extensive spice selection. Owner was super responsive and dropped off forgotten face clothes within an hour of letting her know. Would definitely book again!
Six adults and two dogs came to enjoy the beautiful St Augustine and to enjoy a show at the amphitheater. They gave such great description in the email on how to find the place - including pictures - so that was incredibly helpful. I had a couple of questions upon our arrival and Linda was super prompt and super kind to answer them. We absolutely loved the place. It was super clean and cozy. It worked well for 6 adults. We were able to walk everywhere - which was a surprise. I thought we were going to be further away from the fun. I would recommend this a million times over. We would love to come back and stay here again.
Everything with the property was fine, but were a little mislead thinking we were in a home by ourselves, when it was actually a 2 unit property behind a residence. It all worked out in the end, but had concerns once we found out the details a week before arriving. Given that we had an infant and a pet, we knew we weren't going to be quite for the unit below us.
