"We really enjoyed our stay in Cave Creek - the location and quality of the house was excellent (although our GPS in rental car had a hard time locating the property on our first night - we arrived late evening so it was a bit of an adventure to get there on the back roads). The house is spacious, the pool was great, the views were fabulous and the wildlife diverse (coyotes, owls, lizards). The large covered outdoor patio was great for the hot days. The interior is well designed and good sized entertaining spaces upstairs and downstairs. There were only 3 'marginal' downsides - the beds were very "firm" and the airconditioning system wasn't able to cope with the hot weather - it never got below 78F inside during our stay. The 'nest' thermostat goes into sleep mode overnight instead of continuing to cool - so we were uncomfortable sleeping . . .but able to cool off in the pool and watch the brilliant night sky after midnight with plenty of stars, planets and meteors to see during our time there. The hot tub was set at 99F and I like it at 103F - but couldn't get it to go that warm. Communication with rental agency was easy (we had some access issues since we arrived after 9PM in the dark and the front porch lights weren't on so finding the right lockbox proved tricky - but it was quickly resolved with a call to the management company)"

"This is our second year in a row to stay at this place. We love it there. The location is perfect. Being gated is a plus, because it adds an additional safety factor. We love being able to walk to all the restaurants and businesses in Cave Creek. But it is easy to get anywhere in the valley from here. The house comes with anything you need and there are lots of extras added in. One of our favorite things is the backyard. It has beautiful, mature landscaping, and the pool is perfect.Management was very helpful when we tried to use the gas grill for the first time, and discovered that the propane tank was empty. They had a new one there the very next morning.One issue that we had was very poor WiFi connection. It was extremely slow and disconnected often. We had to buy a WiFi extender, which we left there because it wouldn’t work for our set up at home. Two of us could not be on the internet at the same time. And if we were streaming a movie on tv, it would frequently disconnect during the movie. This was problematic for my husband who was working remotely several days. I did talk with management twice, and was told that a work order was created, but no one ever came to fix it. We got used to it after awhile, but it was frustrating.The only other small concern is that the front door is very difficult to open, even with the code. We had the same problem last year. We ended up just going in through the garage.Still—we recommend highly!We would love to buy this!"

"Because we were so happy with our stay, we collaborated as a family to contribute to this review. This is an excellent house to rent. The inside is spacious, clean, and accomodating. The outside is beautifully landscaped and, although it's in a neighborhood, the neighboring houses aren't close and blend into the landscape. There's opportunities for hiking nearby and the town of Cave Creek is a short drive away. The propery owner, Mike, is very responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The house is well stocked and comfortable, including all the beds. We would definitely stay here again! "

"The room was spacious and comfortable to be in view was beautiful. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower, the commode was separate with a barn door style swinging door. Had pens with name and telephone number, I took one. Thinking of going again with my husband in the heat of summer when price will be lower,I hope."
