"This is a superb property in every way. My wife and I would come back in a heartbeat. It’s located in a quiet location about 1.8 miles outside Cave Creek. The Mountain View’s are breathtaking. The property is very well furnished. The pool is fantastic. It’s got everything you need. Beautiful kitchen and dining area. A comfortable sitting room. Well furnished bedrooms. Outside is well looked after with cacti and other shrubs. There is a barbecue which we used once. The car is parked under a car port so it isn’t that hot when getting in to go somewhere. To summarise, this is an awesome property. We score it 5 stars because you can’t score as a six! Book with confidence. The hosts are fantastic, friendly, and easy to contact. All our thanks to them for hosting us."

"We had our family here for this stay. This place was great. It had everything to take care of all our needs. We could not ask for a better place. We had so much fun, just being at the house. It had so much to do there, but there was also a lot to do otherwise. Shoutout to Kim the host, she made things before, during, and after the trip easy. This was a fun vacation for us. "Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice home. There are a number of different rooms and even separate outdoor spaces that allow individuals or smaller groups to gather. Sometimes houses that sleep 10 have limited dining space or crowded common spaces, but not so at the Tonto Retreat. We never felt cramped. The location is peaceful, and although it's 15 minutes from town, the drive isn't bad and it's worth it for the privacy and quiet. You can walk out behind the house into the Tonto Forest, where the ATV trails are quiet enough for strolling or hiking. Loved watching the birds and owl family. Kitchen has the needed appliances and dinnerware. If you like playing games, they are in the living room coffee table--we didn't notice that until we were leaving, but had brought our own anyway. I will note that there was an allegation of a mattress stain and missing sheets after we checked out, but after some discussion, Latitude 8 (management company) believed me that it wasn't us, and we did not get charged."

"This property is really great. For pluses, the location is gorgeous and the pool deck area is a 10/10. The views are stunning. There were lots of great seats and lounge chairs plus a nice barbecue area. The inside of the home is nice and clean but a bit dated. We had a few issues arise with plumbing and the pool but the manager was very responsive. Overall a great place. Perfect for multiple families. "
