"Had some difficulty finding the hotel at first thanks to our satnav taking us in the wrong end of Via Poncia through a tiny alleyway - from the right end of Via Poncia (marked by a sign for the Eurogomma tyre place) it's very easy.
Plenty of parking, friendly welcome and check-in, useful lift to the upper floors, nice big light room with beautiful views.
Excellent meal service, restaurant was closed the day we arrived but bar food was available. Food was always superb (breakfast, lunch and dinner), attentive and friendly staff made you feel welcome.
Good location for visiting the area, a 10 minute walk away from the beautiful lake side with hills in the distance and a great garden round the property to stroll around and relax in.."

"The Villa was absolutely exceptional! The most incredible views, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We had the most wonderful week and loved the pool and the peaceful location. The outside dining area was fabulous with a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. A car is a must as the Villa is quite a way up the mountain but it is within walking distance of the nearest town at the bottom (around 45 minutes each way) "

"The villa is beautiful and the views fromthe property are outstanding. The villa was very clean. We just had a few small scorpions but that is to be expected in that area. Be aware there is no A/C in the two guest bedrooms but if you leave the doors open they will stay cool. The town of Colico about 5 mins away is really cute with wonderful restaurants by the water. The property has a washing machine which was great but no iron so we had to take some clothes to the dry cleaners. Good communication with the owner about check-in Overall, you can’t beat the location and views! "
