The hotel is in prime location for all of the attractions in Split. Easy walk to the ferry port and bus station. The hotel was clean and rooms well equipped. We were on the top floor but rooms can be a little noisy with the restaurants and bars that stay open late and also people coming in and out of the hotel. We did not have breakfast but it did not seem to be open on time each morning and people were waiting for it to open. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a great base when visiting Split

The hotel is small with only a few rooms per floor and it is located in the center of the old town. The free breakfast was nice! Very convenient and rooms are comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palace Suites. The location couldn't have been better right in the middle of old town. The staff were amazing the rooms were spacious and very clean. Everything was within walking distance and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend

A Gem in Old Town Split

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town Split. Great location, comfortable, very spacious and super clean! And it has an elevator!!! Matea was awesome!

Great last night in Split.

Everything was great about this stay. Rooms had lots of space, clean and the staff was great. 1st floor rooms where noisy due to proximity to the kitchen and dining room. But all other rooms we booked where great. It was also extremely convineint being so close to coffee shops and restaurants.

The Palace Suites has a prized location for a visit to Split. The hotel sits off the main plaza and is a few hundred feet away from Diocletian's Palace and the waterfront promenade. If you have an option of booking with breakfast, I recommend you decline. The breakfast offering is not great and there are so many great cafes and restaurants around the property to have breakfast

Reasonable walking distance from the train station and a couple of minutes away from the main boardwalk. There is a restaurant on the ground/front of the building. Please be sure to look up at the front of the building and you will see the hotel sign. Positives: boutique hotel in the original building, has an elevator and they serve a decent breakfast. The reception is nice. Not-So-Positives: the room has a wall mounted split air unit that seems to air condition only the entry area of the room. Air doesn’t circulate to the area with the bed. I stayed on the third floor. I could hear the guest above stomping around like a giant. I did not get any sleep the first two nights. With the lack of air circulation and the constant temperature extremes - I fell ill. If you don’t know, not all common areas of the hotel nor even the restaurants use full air conditioning. Something to consider when booking.

Location is excellent: This hotel is in the Peoples’ Square minutes from the Diocletian Palace. It has an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcases up the stairs to your room. There are several restaurants nearby and a cute coffee shop that makes great cappuccinos. The breakfast buffet was really nice and had great food options even for a pick eater. The staff was wonderful and super helpful in arranging a private shuttle to the airport upon our departure which was really early in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.
