Pillows are awful as is the comforter. Sheet quality is average at best. This is a great hotel but today hotel bedding is extremely important. Funken fails when it comes to quality bedding sadly. Heavy thick awful pillows. Small ones are hard. The comforter is hard and not goose down. They need to buy some quality down pillows and comforters. This is basic today especially for a 5 star experience. Even Mariott provides this. Time to invest. This is not acceptable.

Nice facilities, very spacious room! Shower was really nice, also contained a washing machine and dishwasher (powder and tablets for both included). Super convenient as shops very nearby and easy for tour/activity pickups.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and provide a good variety of freshly prepared food.
The only funny issue was the tv stations (in English) did not match the content. BBC presented American crime series while CNN followed live police events in various countries.
If we return to Longyearbyen we will stay at the Vault.
