We had a great stay at the Willie property for our wedding weekend. It was calm and surrounded by nature. We loved the location and the privacy of the cabin. The hosts were quick to respond and very sweet. The cabin was clean and well decorated and very cozy.

Quiet Anniversary Weekend

My boyfriend and I highly enjoyed our stay at The Willy. The surrounding area was beautifully scenic and the property was secluded but a short drive from food and things to do in Austin. Check in was very simple. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings before showering and watching tv in the comfortable bed. We would absolutely book again!

Serenity at its best

This place deserves the Serenity Award. A true hidden gem, surrounded by the Mother Nature. Phenomenal amenities and things to enjoy without having to leave the property. The space inside the villa is perfectly designed. Lastly, the property manager is great at assuring your questions are answered in a timely manner.

Weekend getaway

The property was very nice and cozy. The inside was very clean and beautiful. We were a little upset about the water being low as described in the description in the property; however, we believe an additional current photo to depict the written description will help. The property managers were very helpful when needed and very accommodating. We definitely recommend this cabin for a couple who is planning on being in the Austin area for a quiet and peaceful stay.

Bee Creek

Cute cabin, newly updated throughout, small yet has everything you need for a weekend or a week. Very quiet area off of the beaten path. Hot tub is huge but the water was a little murky so did not use. It's nothing that a few chemicals won't resolve. Have your own parking spot which is super nice.

Nice place, hard to find in the dark

Showed up in the evening, hard to get bearings in the night. Ran into another guest when I pulled up who seemed to have the same issue when arriving. Hosts live on property, not the friendliest but so goes life. "On Lake Travis w/ Lake Views" bit of a stretch. Maybe you can see the lake when water is higher. Place was well-kept and clean, well-stocked with nice appliances and amenities. Bathroom does not air out very well. Expect dish cleaning and trash take out to be included in cleaning fee.

My fiance and I stayed at this property for 3 days and loved it! Let me tell you - it offers a lot and isn't far from the city. The grounds itself hosts 4 bnb style cabins that are filled with a stove, oven, keurig, microwave, hot plate, and grill. They have plates and silverware to ensure you can eat your food. Go to grocery store and buy all of what you want for the weekend with seasonings and enjoy! We stayed during what was supposed to be a big winter storm and that didn't happen. It snowed a little, but we still took advantage of the hot tub and sauna on-site. The hot tub was an amazing 104 degrees in below 30 degree weather and the sauna got well above 100 CELCIUS!! And the hot tub just isn't a hot tub - it's a swim spa!! There was a lot to enjoy!! The gym is great and well equipped in better weather conditions since being that cold in a garage can be very cold even when getting warm from working out. We stayed in the all-inspired Willie!! There was Willie Nelson decor throughout the place but it was tasteful and nostalgic and really made you remember just how bad ass and great this guy really was!! PROS: Everything was great! The owners were available by text and messaging through the app right away. CONS: I wish we could have stayed longer!!

Lake Travis

The “Willie” theme cabin was very nice, very cozy as a Texas raised boy Willie is aTX icon and I am a huge fan. I was disappointed that Lake Travis was 43’ below pool level. Not the owners fault but was advertised as close to the lake. Our location was waterless. We immediately had issue with low battery warning on the coded electric door lock. I immediately contacted the representative and stated the problem. Then we emailed back and forth several times about the issue with no resolution. I stopped asking and took valuables with us anytime we were away from the cabin. Overall is a nice stay but work on providing all information about lake level and when maintenance issues are present, simply address and respond to correct issues. Again great location and nice, clean, user friendly. Would return and stay. Learning curve for owners.

Okay place

We stayed in “ the willie “ which is in the backyard of the owners house, not too big a deal but the owners house did have huge windows with no curtains/ blinds so sitting on the porch or entering and exiting the rental was kind of awkward. We could see them and they could see us with very minimal privacy. The cabin is a suite/studio, so the kitchen and bed is in the same area, there is no dish washer so you have to wash all of your dishes by hand, we brought steaks and realized that there was no knives to even cut them. The bathroom area had a sour smell to it. The shared amenities weren’t too bad, but the hot tub is in the front of the owners home where you park your car, the gym had good equipment but just needed a good cleaning. The shared amenities weren’t really a huge deal but not as private as we thought. Also there is a fire pit next to the cabin but when we tried to sit out there at night, we realized that the hanging lights around the pit area, the line to the lights were cut and didn’t turn on. We were also under the impression there was a lake view but you can’t really see the lake at all. It wasn’t a bad place/stay but just wasn’t for us and we ended up leaving a little early to be closer to Austin for the remainder of our trip.

The property is hill country quiet w/ the lake a few minutes walk away. Really nice set up for a relaxing stay w/ all you need for a comfortable stay & within a 10-15 minute drive from several stores & restaurants. I enjoyed the quiet time & the sky filled w/ stars at night unobstructed by city lights. The hosts were the best, very friendly & ready when you need them.
