"The location, room & breakfast were excellent. The staff who checked us in were welcoming & helpful. Having an EV charger on-site would have been very convenient. Unfortunately, the receptionist on the night shift, whose duty ended at 7:30 a.m., spoiled our morning & negatively impacted the rest of our road trip. She was rude, became defensive during the interaction, & seemed unwilling to handle the situation professionally when I questioned her statement & asked for the manager’s name. That experience is the reason for the lost star."

"The staff was excellent. The rooms were clean. Would be nice if the toilets were updated. Also, no elevator. The continental breakfast was not the best."

"Located right off Main Street. Within easy walking distance to many Main Street attractions. Included nearby parking in well lit lot. Charlotte at the front desk was beyond helpful each day and the friendliest person on the property, though all were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and the coffee was very good. Recommend!"

"I checked out the three hot tubs while I was there. Two of the tubs had obviously not been maintained for a while. The water was cloudy and gave off a very unpleasant odor. The third tub was mostly empty of water. No soaking for me. The TV was somehow fixed at a certain volume, which I wanted to lower but could not. The mute button was also deactivated. Very frustrating!"

"The desk clerk was absolutely the friendliest both day and night. The breakfast was fresh and the gal preparing it was also very nice. The hotel is old but you can tell the employees take pride in their jobs. "

"Our room smelled like a decades old musty bookstore, and that made it feel dirty. I can deal with outdated rooms, but it smelled gross. The check in was perfect, and the mother's day banquet was beautiful."

"Not bad, typical hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to contact the desk right after check-in to have the sheets changed. Found hair and what appeared to be melted cheese on the sheets. They came right away and changed them and said they had recently hired some young people who were not very observant and apologized for the inconvenience. "
