Great service

Very serviced minded staff with an authentic feeling. The general conditions were good and the hotel is lifted by a superb dinner restaurant. Excellent service from all staff. My only point of observation was the airconditioning did not work 100% (very hot weather) and cleaning was only upon request.

There is no air conditioning, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. Also, half the windows had missing or torn screens so we couldn’t leave the windows open for fear of bugs.

Ett väldigt mysigt gammalt kloster som ligger fantastiskt till på den Toscanska landsbygden! I dyraste laget för vår familj men ändå blir betyget topp. En fördel att det finns kök, så finns möjligheten att laga egen mat.

Et fint sted

Det første vi blev mødt af, var et rart og velkommende personale der fortalte os alt om tøjvask, restauranten og lokalområdet. Der var desværre problemer med poolen de første par dage. Heldigvis gjorde personalet alt hvad de kunne, for at få den op at køre igen. Og den var dejlig afkølende da den virkede. Tennis og bordtennis var tilgængeligt hele tiden og fungerede fint med at låne diverse ketchere og bat i receptionen. Vi havde det lidt varmt da der ingen aircondition var, men det var vi velvidende om inden vi tog afsted. Til vores overraskelse var der både en blæser og en vifte i loftet, som fik det til at føles lidt køligere. Lille tip: tag en ekstra blæser med. I starten var der næsten intet vand i hanen, men da vi gik ned i receptionen og fortalte dem om det, gjorde de noget ved det med det samme. Så alt i alt var det et dejligt, men varmt ophold med god mad og smuk natur.

Unieke locatie op 7km van de rand van Siena. Netjes welkom geheten, kamers en inrichting passend bij de historische waarde van het voormalige klooster. Zeer ruime kamers met alle voorzieningen. Enige minpuntje is de badkamer, geen moderne inloopdouche maar een ouderwetse douchebak. Ontbijt eenvoudig maar meer dan voldoende, o.a. vers fruit, broodje, croissants en héle lekkere espresso! Al het personeel doet echt moeite om het verblijf te veraangenamen. Tip: het diner in het hotel is van zeer goede kwaliteit! En de serveerster verdient een dikke pluim!

Wir hatten das große Appartement mit 130qm gebucht und damit ausreichend Platz. Das Gebäude ist alt, aber zauberhaft und die Betten hervorragend. Wer die Natur und Mal was anderes sucht, ist in diesem Hotel richtig. Nur das Frühstück ist halt italienisch und nicht wirklich ausreichend.

Picturesque but lots of hidden fees

This is the most beautiful property. Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of charm. Picturesque in every way. I was dissappointed that they chage you for every little thing. Even the coffee pods on day 2. You have to pay for your pool towels. You have to pay a cleaning fee, on top of the room charge. You have to take out your own garbage.

Hôtel calme à proximité de Sienne

Nous avons été heureux de revenir dans cet appartement au coeur d'un petit château toscan. Nous avons profité de la table de ping pong et des chaises longues lors de notre très court séjour.

Beautiful location but be aware it is near nothing

I wanted a countryside Italian vacation but unfortunately was unable to pick up my car due to unforeseen circumstances of my bag being stolen over a bank holiday weekend before we flew out the Monday. We had to take public transport and was delayed due to weather but the hotel did provide bus timetable and offered to pick us up by taxi from Siena. We declined as transport was unpredictable. After a €25/30 taxi to the hotel we discovered it is literally no where close to anything. Over an hour walk down country lanes to the closest restaurant and over 6km drive to local shop. We were physically unable to stay here and very upset by this. We could swallow unable to stay for a night due to weather but after paying for 4 nights upfront and not spending more than 20 minutes due to the fact that it is very isolated we were offered 0 refund for not staying at all. I understand the description says countryside and gives distances from local towns but be aware that it is terribly isolated. For me even a countryside retreat should have somewhere to provide food or refreshment within a 30 minute walk or should make this more apparent on the site. I was terribly disappointed and left a very sour taste in my mouth. Do not go if you want to go out for Italian food or have some wine. Driving is a must.

Bel endroit pour se reposer et visiter Sienne.

Hotel agréable ayant beaucoup de Charme. Belle piscine propre et avec beaucoup d'espace autour pour se détendre. Bel appartement, bien équipé, mais pas super propre (vieille bâtisse). Personnel très serviable et agréable. Nous avons dû écourter notre séjour suite à un décès dans la famille et le patron, Bruno, a été très compréhensif. Bon séjour malgré tout à proximité de Sienne qui est magnifique.

Fint boende i fin miljö

Vi bodde på hotellet en natt när vi bilade i italien. Hotellet ligger på landsbygden och är antagligen ganska svårt att ta sig till utan bil.Jättefina omgivningar och ett väldigt fint rum. Bra frukost och fin service.

Douceur de vivre

Pas très facile à trouver car en pleine campagne toscane, mais très belle surprise: petit château avec piscine, table de ping-pong, nombreux endroits pour se reposer, très calme. Un spa est installé au même endroit (mais nous n'avons pas eu le temps de le tester). Nous étions un couple avec un adolescent et avons bénéficié d'un petit appartement au second étage avec salle de bain et cuisine. Petit-déjeuner copieux servi en salle ou dans la cour intérieure.
