Brotes is our secret corner of Tuscany, nestled in the heart of the Montagnola Senese, a protected area where vineyards and olive groves blend into ancient forests. Here, you can hear the silence, feel nature’s rhythm, and truly experience the freedom of being far from it all.



At 580 meters above sea level, the estate stands atop a hill surrounded by centuries-old chestnut trees. Getting here is part of the adventure: the iconic strade bianche wind through woods, vineyards, and olive groves, revealing a new side of Tuscany at every turn.



The property features three independent apartments, each with its own privacy and stairway access. This apartment offers spacious rooms and thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. From one window, gaze across the landscape to the distant silhouette of Monte Amiata.

At the heart of Brotes is the land. We grow our own grapes and olives, producing wine and oil in a culture where the land, good food, and sharing still matter. In season, we invite you to our garden to pick what the earth provides.



Siena is only 25 minutes away, with Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and Volterra within easy reach.



We are in a protected natural area without door-to-door waste collection, so we appreciate your help in caring for this place by taking your waste to nearby collection points.
