"Nicely renovated property! Staff is also friendly and helpful. Location is on the water and easy walk to restaurants and bars in the area. They also have a nice restaurant and bar onsite. Would definitely recommend the Commadore when in the area."

"The hotel was in an amazing location and it had a very nice outlook, especially if you could afford the riverside. The use of the pool and gym next door was nice and we did take advantage of that. The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet. Something that was a little be frustrating was that their parking has a barrier that was high enough for our vehicle which led you down a ramp that had a lower barrier. Not noticing this at first we scratched our vehicle, and then had to reverse the wrong way out of the ramp. The height on the barrier signs should match. The person I spoke to wasn't overly pleasant but did offer us a different place to park. And the woman that checked us in was really pleasant. This is why this hasn't affected the review."

"Did some shopping, had a wonderful lunch around the corner. Went to the beach at Inch. Went to a few bars for Trad music. Everyone is very nice."

"The hotel is a great place to stay when being in the Killarney area. Clean, friendly personal, good-sized rooms, good breakfast buffet, restaurant, and bar. The hotel is huge, so be prepared to walk a while along the hallways before finding your room. My only recommendation to the staff: Explain the directions at the front desk. A couple of times, I pointed lost guests into the right direction."
