"I stayed with my fiancé and his sister for 2 weekend nights, and we had a mostly positive experience. The unit was clean, but there was a musty smell to it that we noted as soon as we walked in. It is in a basement, so that’s the likely reason. The host graciously provided a dehumidifier and an air purifier to help with that issue. "We have stayed here a few times when we come to town. The hotel is on a nice quiet street but still walking distance to Michigan Ave with a lot of excellent restaurants nearby. Nice to have a gated parking lot with in and out entry. Also love that the kitchen is now open at the hotel and the food is pretty good. The rooms are spacious and spotless and very comfortable for myself, my husband and our pup. Highly recommend and will continue to stay here whenever we visit Detroit!"

"Id stay there again cuz ive had worse Very nice room. Good breakfast. Elevator was intermittent. Staff was really good actually, except one... You could tell she really didn't want to be there. The day I had showed up they just finished up on repainting a whole bunch of outdoor stuff , looked nice, although there was over spray in many areas. the place was never swept in the three days that I was there. The same litter and trash on the ground was there the whole time I was there. No signal on the tv , although everything was plugged in."
