"The Bayside Resort hotel serviced its purpose in that is provided a place for us to stay for one night on the Cape. Calling it a resort is definitely a stretch but we also went off season, so it may be a different vibe during the summer. The rooms could definitely use an update.
The pros:
Friendly staff
Soft bedding
Huge fire pit with lots of seating
Pool hot tub were well maintained
The cons:
Room had a musty smell
Sticky old rug in room (may have contributed to smell)
The river view room that we upgraded to was basically looks out at parking lot (river is off in distance)
Our reservation was supposed to come with two drinks as part of booking with Expedia but no one knew what that meant."
"The hotel was good, the pool areas are great. Dinning onsite was a disappointment. Maybe it was an early season issue, most items on the menu weren’t available, portions for the price were way off. despite being one of two tables service was slow. "
"The property was very nice. Bright , airy, inviting fun. Loved the sun porches overlooking the water. There are a variety of room at various price points so be mindful. We got a bottom floor back room facing a fence & another building within a few feet.
Within walking distance of everything. Staff was very nice & helpful (loved the birthday cupcake)."
"Our experience at the Marriott Boston was wonderful. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. We brought our daughter and friend to a dance competition in Scituate. We definitely would recommend this hotel."
