"I was unfortunately in a room that shared a wall with the elevator. The machinery was not insulated so I heard it all night or whenever anyone would use to go up or down. I don't think the hotel was sold out so not sure why they placed me in this location. Room was just OK anyway, felt old and the floor was sloped pretty significantly. Loud elevator noise was a dealbreaker though."

"It's nothing like you see on line when you are booking on this hotel our room had blood stains on the bed covers the carpet looked like someone was murdered in there smelled like urine throughout the hotel this location is in the worst place of the city junkies throughout the streets trash as well so you better be careful booking this hotel "

"If you are looking for a convenient location near San Francisco airport and decent food on property you found the right location. The rooms could use some updates, bathroom work and some paint, TV didn't work properly, it kept losing signal or just freezing, but in a big picture okay stay but near SFO."

"Room was pleasant and had a nice view of the city. The location was great too. Right in the heart or Chinatown. Very walkable to explore the many shops and restaurants. If you are booking a Big Bus tour, that is also only a short 5 minute walk to the nearest stop located in el Embarcadero. Short walk to the cable car as well. This was my second stay here and I would definitely recommend. "

"Great location. Near the waterfront and North Beach (you can walk to everything. Unfortunately, my room needed a reno. The carpet, shower head and office chair need to go. I also don't think it was cleaned very well. "
