About this property
Romantic Nature Stay | Accessible Cabin for 2
Welcome to Lewis Lake, a peaceful forest glamping retreat at Bunkie Land designed for rest, reflection, and reconnecting with nature. Inspired and designed by the owners’ daughter, Mieka, Lewis Lake is a replica of her own “happy place” — created from the belief that everyone deserves a peaceful place to slow down, breathe deeply, and feel at home in nature.
This wheelchair-accessible Bunkie is ideal for solo travelers, couples, and guests looking for a quiet escape surrounded by the woods of Nova Scotia. Conveniently located directly across from the accessible communal washrooms and bathhouse facilities, Lewis Lake offers added comfort and accessibility while still feeling peaceful and private.
Wake slowly with coffee on the deck, listen to the trees sway, enjoy evenings around your private fire pit, or wander the nearby forest paths toward the Herbert River. Lewis Lake blends simple comforts with a calming nature-focused atmosphere designed to help guests unplug and recharge.
The Bunkie features a queen sofa bed, free Wi Fi, and a kitchenette with coffee essentials, toaster, and air fryer for easy meals, plus a private barbecue on the deck with complimentary propane included. A complimentary starter bundle of firewood is also provided for cozy evenings under the stars at your private fire pit.
Bunkie Land is a growing tiny cabin and glamping community located in the wild heart of Nova Scotia. Each Bunkie has its own personality and theme while still being connected through shared pathways, outdoor gathering spaces, and a spirit of community. The bunkies are spaced apart with trees and nature in between for added privacy while still allowing guests to enjoy the shared experience of the property.
