"The location and view from our balcony was amazing. The staff was top notch. They were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. (eggs, made to order burrito and omelettes, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. The food in their lunch/dinner cafe was good. The adult beverages were inconsistent depending on the staff who made them. Overall- it was a great experience and we enjoyed South Padre. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back to La Copa. "

"I arrived late in the evening around 12:00 AM to check in and the receptionist Rey was really caring and informative. He was understanding of how tired I was and got me checked in really quick. Room smelled great for being in a humid area. The rooms are very spacious and the pool was pretty nice. For being on the first floor, the room was very quiet all night and I never heard the upstairs neighbors. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to staying here again. The water was a bit cold in the morning haha but great if you need to wake up fast! Normal for this time of the year though given that they turn off the boilers to be eco friendly during non-peak seasons. "

"Stay was wonderful from the communication with Rosanna to the location. The complex is gated and secure. This unit is very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and includes such essentials as spices and other basics. Includes many specials touches: extra blankets by deck door for late night star gazing, flashlights and lanterns for crabbing (so fun to see the crabs scurry), beach equipment (lounge chairs, towels, umbrella, shovels, mats, cart, etc) bathroom appliances (dryer, make up wipes, make up towels, hair dryer, straightener) We loved eating our breakfast and star gazing from the deck with water view and sound of crashing waves. Beds/couches/ chairs comfortable. Location was ideal very convenient to the pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts and easy access to the beach. (Yes much appreciated that Rosanna had purchased new pickle ball amd tennis rackets!) Highly recommend! "

"Nice condo. Pool was pretty crowded some days but maybe was a busy week. Security folks are so nice!! Host was very responsive. Master bedroom was a bit weird with sliding doors but you could see in a bit and blocked out zero sound. Balcony off master room didn’t have direct access which we also thought was a bit strange. Beautiful island though. Ocean views from the balcony. "

"Room smelled horrible. They should just rip carpet out. Blankets are old and not clean. The extra blanket in the closet had someone’s hair stuck to it. Only good thing is that the pool is heated and lobby area was clean."

"We did all of the activities SPI had to offer, and each excursion was wonderful. But if this is the condo you choose to stay in, you don’t have to book a single thing and you’ll still love your time away. The view makes the whole stay, and the condo is fully equipped with lawn chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, and boards to use in the water - everything you need to easily enjoy the beach. There are great restaurants close by if you don’t want to cook. We stayed with our two kids - we all had our own spacious bedrooms. If we come back to SPI we will stay in the same unit for sure. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and pampered."
