"The room had a smell like sewage water, the tv only had 25 channels to choose from, no apps, no streaming, the room felt humid and the south padre location required you to keep the temperature from 69-72 or you’ll be charged. The drinks were watered down at land-shark and the pool area. The food is lightly seasoned. The beach was nice and the pool seemed to be relaxing. The staff was friendly. Overall I will not be back it was not worth it. "

"The stay was pleasant enough , while our room was clean there was obvious damage to furniture in the room. For the price point you would think it would be better maintained. We also woke up our 2nd day to an extremely wet floor, turns out you can't have the AC higher than 69 degrees or your whole room gets humid. This is something that should be explained to each guest or at the very least invest in a dehumidifier, we are not all seasoned islanders. (Would like to add our first time staying here our AC unit in the room didnt work either) Maintenance cleaned it up quick enough and was very pleasant. While the property was at a prime location, it felt like a motel experience with a resort price tag. "

"Never staying here again. The hall was, ac not working. Room didn't have a remote control for TV. They took control to the room till the next day of when we got there. Cleaning crew didn't leave toilet paper."

"I’m not quite sure where to start. We are SeaVista regulars. 3-4 times a year for 5-7 years. We usually cook in 5 nights, go out 2 This was a redone that owners clearly made into a 3/2, with a regular door on a master suite placed beachfront rather than the flexible sliding wall to accommodate more living room space most commonly found. It’s the kitchen that was a mystery. It had been remodeled, nice cabinets with damped hinges, good natural countertops, reasonably well equipped with tools and kitchenware, nice refrigerator…and NO dishwasher! And the first clue was the dishwasher tablets left for the ummm…idea of one , I suppose. Yes,this is not anything other than a 1st world problem, but it is one that has been available in every other unit in which we’ve stayed But the great fun was hauling our own toilet water. A water main had a break and they had to shut off the water to the building for a day… and we had the opportunity to haul our own buckets of water to flil our toilets. Glad I was in a ground floor unit. In summary, this was not SeaVista’s best day… and we will definitely find a different unit "

"I arrived late in the evening around 12:00 AM to check in and the receptionist Rey was really caring and informative. He was understanding of how tired I was and got me checked in really quick. Room smelled great for being in a humid area. The rooms are very spacious and the pool was pretty nice. For being on the first floor, the room was very quiet all night and I never heard the upstairs neighbors. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to staying here again. The water was a bit cold in the morning haha but great if you need to wake up fast! Normal for this time of the year though given that they turn off the boilers to be eco friendly during non-peak seasons. "
