"I travel to the island once or twice monthly for business. Sand Rose is my go-to stay, especially during the off-season when the sub $100 nightly rate fits my corporate travel budget. While not the least expensive room, certainly the best value on the island. After dozens of stays over the years, I’ve never seen a roach. Rooms are always clean. The included breakfast is top notch…I always look forward to it! Great amenities on site, but very well located between Clayton’s Beach Bar (largest in Texas), the Marriott, and the Hilton, giving lots of walkable options for dining and drinks."

"Stayed for a week in November. Things were mostly quiet. As everyone else mentions, the check-in process requires a couple different stops around the city and is only a little inconvenient. The property is just steps away from the beach and is really close to some of the popular gathering spots on the island. Would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful custom beach house in The Shores Subdivision. The property was exactly as described — spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. With 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, it easily accommodated our group of 8, and everyone enjoyed the privacy and comfort.The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped, the common areas were bright and inviting, and the outdoor spaces made our stay even more enjoyable.Mr. Franke was an outstanding host — attentive, professional, and always available to answer our questions.
