Luxury 5BR Forest Retreat at Black Butte Ranch

"The home had not been cleaned or restocked when we arrived. We called housekeeping & they immediately sent a crew out to clean, make beds & restock.There had been a mixup on our arrival date, they repeatedly apologized & made everything right for our stay. The house is very nice. Lovely quiet setting. All the beds were super comfortable.Fabulous hot tub set in a private forested back yard. A garage filled with entertainment for big & little kids! Including bikes & helmets for all ages & sizes. Nicely appointed kitchen with table dining for 8 plus more seating at the counter. Huge tv with plenty of seating for family movie night. And it was also a dog friendly home!A huge plus for us was the EV charger for our Rivian R1T.Overall a wonderful home for a family gathering. :0)"

"This place is exceptional. It has lots of light and, because it looks out on the golf course, a feeling of openness. The four good-sized bedrooms worked well for our party of four men, as did the large deck. The beds were good and the kitchen well-stocked. A locked door kept us from the "hot tub on site," but we would not have used it, anyway."

"We had a wonderful stay at Black Butte Ranch. Everything was incredibly easy from start to finish, and the property was exactly as described. The home was beautiful, comfortable, very well-maintained, and perfectly positioned to enjoy everything the Ranch has to offer. We really enjoyed our time there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay at Black Butte. We’d happily come back!"
Bluegrass home in Crossroads - Pet friendly home just outside of Sisters

"The Great: Beautiful light & bright manufactured home, very pet friendly, comfortable master bed & couches, tv’s worked well, pretty much everything worked as it should. We lacked nothing!! There is every appliance you could imagine in the kitchen & coffee bar. Plenty of linens, games, and books! Wonderful! We felt at home. The good outweighed any issues we had. :0) The Challenges: The neighborhood is quiet ‘most’ of the time. There is nightly ATV riding by kids, lapping the neighbor’s house; they ride right next to the house wall for an hour or two, making dust. There is a low amount of neighborhood traffic, but very loud garbage truck blaring acid rock that shook the house on Wed morning, & speeding fedex & ups. There is no bathroom door in the main bedroom - not even a door in the toilet area. The washer did not spin with washing. You need to run the spin cycle after a regular cycle. There were a good amount of small insects inside the house, looked like a gnat or fruit fly infestation. They were in the bedroom at night as well. The Bad: All surface cleanliness was lacking- floors, corners, walls, cabinets. Bed cover & pillow shams were soiled. We found 2 per urine areas. Curtains soiled with organic matter. The master tub had pink slime mold on the drain. The yard, while nicely fenced, is stickers, dead weeds, and dead brush. The deck and deck chairs were webby & dirty, both front and back of house. We found many dog piles outside. 5/10 would be my rating."
