Relaxing getaway

well appointed studio condo in great location

This studio condo is in the Lakeland Village lodge, so it's a great location close to the beach (5 minute walk to Lakeland Village beach) and within walking distance to restaurants and the marina. The condo is modern and much more updated than other Lakeland Village condos we have stayed in. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed. The unit has AC which was nice given the heat of the summer.

August Tahoe Trop

Our property that we normally stay in was damaged in the recent snows so this year we had to make other arrangements. We loved, loved staying here. The place was clean, it had everything we needed, even if we didn’t find it for a couple of days. The management staff was easy to get ahold of, very friendly. My husband and I will be back.

No view , very small but comfortable.

I was disappointed in the condo as far as view and it is very old and the building really mildew smell. The condo was cute and comfortable but very very very small. Bed is very comfortable. We decided to go to another condo up near incline village. So much prettier and condo was awesome up there.

Great place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The studio looks exactly like in the photos, cozy and comfy, perfect for 2 people. You can see the mountains from the window. The kitchen has all the basic utensils, pots, drip coffee maker etc, not in great condition, but usable. The complex hot tub is spacious enough, and we loved the pool next to it (cooler than the tub, but still heated). Ski shuttle situation is a little tricky I think. There is a bus stop for a regular bus just in front of the lodge, but that only runs every hour. The winter ski shuttle to the gondola is every 30 mins, but the shuttle stop is somewhere a longer walk away, we didn't figure out where. Also, there are no direct bus routes neither to California nor Nevada lodges, only to the gondola. We used our car to get to the lifts.

Our stay at Lakeland village was very relaxing & enjoyable. Lake Tahoe is as beautiful as everyone told us. Our room/studio was clean, spacious, comfortable & well equipped. Things that we loved: Close parking, walk to a wonderful & clean beach, well equipped kitchen & many attractions were within walking distance. There are comfortable lounge chairs on the beach & large beach towels in the room. Ice water & coffee in the lobby. Brochures available too. The pool & sauna area was very nice. Really the only slight problem we had was the front desk staff was a bit dismissive when we arrived. When we had a few questions about checking in & resort amenities. As soon as they found out we were renting through VRBO, they said they weren’t really able to help us. Then while relaxing on the beach a man asked if I was a guest because I didn’t have a wrist band. I had my phone with me & showed him my confirmation. He explained that the front desk had the wrist bands & should have given them to us upon arrival. Just a small inconvenience.

Cozy and Wonderful, Updated Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first VRBO experience and we were very happy with the accommodations. The condo was as described, all updated, perfect for 2 people. We usually stay in hotels and this time it was a longer stay in Lake Tahoe so we were able to settle in, buy groceries, and cook as though we were at home. The appliances are nice and newer. We really liked the private beach at this community and the location on the main highway. The best part was the parking in the garage for this building, keeping the car cool and shady. The sunsets were spectacular from the beach and lakefront. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and basic supplies. The towels and beach towels were nice to have handy. We used the laundry facilities a few times and that was very convenient. I was just recovering from Knee Surgery so the fact that this unit is in an elevator building was very helpful. There wasn't a lot of storage for our clothes in this unit but all else made up for it. The bed was comfortable, the TV was nice sized with excellent screen quality, and the balcony is nice for sitting and we used the electric grill a few times and it was great! We would stay here again and highly recommend it. The communication and customer service from the property management was outstanding. Thank you!

Amazing Location and Room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was perfect for a couples getaway in Tahoe! The unit had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Lots of thoughtful touches such as a deck of cards, games, books, and plenty of TP, garbage bags and shampoo/conditioner/body wash, make-up remover wipes, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked and provided a sponge for cleaning/dishes, kitchen towels, basic spices/cooking oil and had plenty of dishes/silverware and serve ware. Plenty of beach towels and the amenities and grounds were wonderful! The location was perfect and walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants as well. We can't wait to come stay again!

It was very clean ,well equipped and the staff was available to answer any questions they stayed in touch with me via text and email. It was above and beyond what we could imagine. We really enjoyed our time in Lake Tahoe and coming to a nice place to sleep and cook and rest was very satisfying. I really love the fireplace. Whoever manages or owns this condo has equipped it very well. There was even a first aid kit if it was needed it was updated and very clean. The bed was nice and restful condo is equipped for just two people which was perfect. I could see how having a child with you would also give you everything that you needed. Unfortunately we did not use any of the amenities but I’m sure they were fine. We were so busy having fun we didn’t have time to use the workout room or the Jacuzzi. Definitely on the top of our list for rentals very convenient we had underground parking and they had the luggage carriers in the garage, so it made it easy to take our luggage up to the room and back. I appreciate it the staffs contact they wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed, and that we were satisfied.

The rental was well equipped with a kitxhen that was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Very quiet and orderly. The mattress was unfortunately difficult to sleep on. It was lumpy and uncomfortable.

This comfortable and attractive unit in the Lakeland Village Main Lodge was spotlessly clean. Being in the main lodge, the pool and hot tub were easily accessible, but South Lake Tahoe Blvd is right over the fence so if you’re looking for quiet, you might be disappointed. No problem sleeping through, even with the windows open. We had a maintenance issue that was quickly resolved. RnR management was very responsive to us. Across the complex, the private beach would be great for little ones.

We had a wonderful stay. The studio was beautiful. It is perfect designed. Clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed right there. Everything is conveniently close. Shops and dining are just a walk away. We hopped on scooters and had a blast. Fun date night idea. You save time and stress with the private beach front on property as well as parking. You can get a better deal. It’s everything you could imagine staying in South Lake Tahoe. We were so pleased with our stay.
