The Black Bear tiny house Bungalow is a cozy pet friendly tinu house surrounded by pine trees in a small, tiny house village, great for couples, small families or a small group of friends looking for a fun Tahoe getaway. The cabin has a gas fireplace in the front room one bedroom with a Queen bed and one bathroom downstairs and upstairs is two LOW CEILING LOFT (48") rooms for additional sleeping each with a queen bed. The bungalow offers free WiFi , toiletries and linens and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need including both Keurig and regular coffee machine. Come out and hit the ski slopes at one of the close ski resorts or just enjoy the snow as well as the casinos at Stateline are only 10 minutes away. This cabin is very pet friendly with a fenced private yard because most guests bring pet with them during their stay if you do have allergies to pets this may not be the best cabin option for you. This cozy tiny house is ONLY 700 square feet as it can sleep 7 guests max it is BEST suited for 4 adults as it is a TINY house.

****We have a strict cancellation policy and do not offer refunds or reservation date modifications so please read the entire listing description and policies prior to booking. WE ALWAYS SUGGUEST GUESTS PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE! We do offer early check in or late check out options for an additional $50 each please let us know in advance as these are not always available. This is a TINY house so is not really suited for guests with mobility issues as we are not handicap accessible and spaces are smaller than a normal house.

***This is a tiny house cabin in the Sierras we do have lots of wildlife. this includes bears, squirrels, chipmunks, coyotes and even the occasional field mouse spotting any of these will not get you a refund. **** The tiny house village does have external cameras as well as the bungalow has a ring doorbell on the front porch. Come enjoy and explore beautiful Lake Tahoe!!!!!!

Tiny Home cabin that worked for a big family!

Loved the cabin. So well equipped and thoughtful. The place was super cozy. Yard was perfect for our lab. Location was perfect for our two days at Kirkwood; under 40 minute drive. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hideway

A quaint little unit in a quiet setting. Lots to offer with areas to walk, stores and restaurants nearby and a well equipped little bungalow that was plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. Jeanine was really easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and comfortable

The place was excellent, with all the amenities that we were expecting. The staff communicated with us within a few minutes of messaging them and they were prompt with sending help when were trying to figure out the heating controls. Overall will stay here again.

Awesome little bear bungalow!

Hubby and I really enjoyed our stay in Bear Bungalow #8 with our two dogs. Our daughters weren’t able to make the annual Tahoe trip but we wanted the extra loft beds in case they could make it up last minute. Enjoyed having the private little yard to enjoy the fresh mountain air and let the dogs run around. The cabin is very cute and charming, with everything we could ask for - TV, Wi-Fi, coffee makers and a well stocked kitchen. Would love to stay here again!

Awesome cabin!

Fun little cabin nestled among other cabins. Position A1 parking. Perfect for kids bc they won’t bother anyone else and the loft upstairs feels like it is made for them. Generously sleeps 7. Easy check in check out process. Fun to communicate with owner who was quick and super friendly! Overall very intimate stay in the heart of S Tahoe close to just about everything and short drive from heavenly. Would stay again!

Big 3 get away

My family and I (partner, child and dog) stayed from Tuesday to Friday! My son and I were celebrating our birthdays together, but it was my big 3 0. It was truly so marvelous! It was my first time in a cabin and it was so perfect and cozy. The entire stay and experience was everything and more. I look forward to coming back every ski week now with my family :)

Great little cabin with lots of special little touches even for the pets. Easy to get to. Very well supplied with kitchen supplies, coffee and clean everything. Ceilings very low upstairs…can’t stand up. Cell service not great. It was perfect for our needs

Perfect cabin decor

I loved loved loved this adorable little cabin. Impeccably clean, great cabin decor, and had everything you need for a memorable stay. I would recommend lids for the frying pans and a curtain for the kitchen window. I would highly recommend this cabin if your looking for the outdoorsy get away. Keep in mind the two bedrooms in the upstairs loft have LOW ceilings as mentioned in the description. I would guess the height to be about 4 feet. Doable for younger folks, but could be difficult for older people to be bent over to move about. Regardless, it’s a great place to stay 💕🤗

Cozy little cottage right where the action is.

This little cabin worked perfectly for what we needed! We brought our dog so having a fenced in yard was awesome to let him outside. We were less than 10 min away from so many restaurants, grocery store, and the lake. It was super easy to get around. It is small, like many other reviews said. The loft is not a full space as adults cannot stand up. But we only had one person sleeping up there. Our group was three adults and I wouldn’t recommend many more than that as there is only one bathroom. The place was very clean and comfortable. It had lost of amenities and kitchen appliances. The only thing we couldn’t find was extra trash bags, but we made do.

Absolutely first rate... 5 star all the way!!

We came as a party of 6 adults and could not be more welcomed and comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us in the tiny cabin. The bedrooms upstairs and down are very roomy and comfortable. We felt at home the moment we arrived. Due to many food restrictions we cooked both dinner and breakfast during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our group easily. After site seeing the town we came back and all watched movies by the warm fire place. Once again there was plenty of room for the 6 of us to all lounge in the living room area. We all slept comfortably in each of the bedrooms. The ceiling height was never an issue for us. We loved the experience. We will definitely be back again with the pets next time!!! Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your 5 star cabin!

Great location

The cabin met all of our needs and was the perfect location. It was closet enough to all the attractions/sites and town to be extremely convenient yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.
