About this property
Coastal cottage. . Farm and sea
- This is a brand new Post and Beam style cottage with 2 bedrooms and sleeps 5 comfortably. Open floor plan and large deck over looking a pasture. Built on a 5 acre farm just 10 minutes to local beaches, you will experience old South County living, surrounded by working farms with peace and quiet away from the crowds. A short drive gets you to local beaches. The Galilee Fishing Port is nearby with a very active and productive fishing fleet, one of the biggest in the U.S. The Block Island Ferry is also located in Galilee. Downtown Wakefield is 5 minutes away with local shops,restaurants and markets. Newport is a 25 minute ride, The University of Rhode Island is 10 minutes and Providence is 30 minutes. Sadly our beloved donkey Duke has passed away. We still have our free roaming chickens.
NOTICE: Monthly rentals are available during the months of June, July and August at a discounted rate. It is recommended to book monthly rentals as soon as possible to ensure reservation before weekly rentals are booked.
